Reading 1-1 Liverpool
It was all getting a bit cagey as both sides bid to turn around their poor starts to the WSL season with a crucial victory.
But suddenly it opens up for Reading's Charlie Wellings, whose powerful shot is well held by Eartha Cumings.
Reading 1-1 Liverpool
A golden opportunity for Reading's Charlie Wellings but she badly skews a volley wide with the goal opening up for her. Not an easy skill to convert a deep cross first time but she will have hoped to do better from 10 yards.

Reading are trying to be more organised and defensively compact now in the second half. A couple of chances from Liverpool but Reading were like a brick wall at the back.

The first half was really end to end with a score line to reflect it, a goal each and Primmer! An excellent finish, fantastic from the young Reading player. She really stepped up to the mark and I mentioned earlier she's playing a really mature role for Reading at such an young age.

Surprisingly, Reading had more of the ball in the first half, but they never looked comfortable at the back.
Liverpool had seven shots from inside the box, compared with Reading's two, and looked the busier of the two sides.
But the hosts will only be interested in one stat at the break.

The hosts needed that.
It was a goal against the run of play but leaves this basement battle back on a knife edge.
I know it is only early in the season, but Reading will not have wanted to let Liverpool open a four-point gap in the table.
Can they complete the comeback - the second half is set up perfectly.

A superb finish and we know that Reading are so dangerous from set pieces from a wide position. It went out to Primmer who took an audacious shot from far out and it fired into the back of the net.

What a peach from the 18-year-old!

Reading's Diane Caldwell picks up the ball inside the Liverpool half and lets fly from 30 yards out. It looked an improbable effort but Eartha Cumings dives to smother the shot as it drifted the wrong side of the post.
Reading 0-1 Liverpool
Katie Stengel jinks her way inside from the left and curls a shot on target from the edge of the box but her effort is headed behind by Diane Caldwell. A vital intervention from the Reading defender.
