Rachel Rowe's 92nd-minute winner against Leicester three games ago was voted the WSL October goal of the month.

What head coach Kelly Chambers wouldn't give for another one of those against Liverpool tonight!

Chambers has been in charge of the Royals since 2014 and after guiding the team to promotion in 2015 has established them as a top flight club, including a club record fourth-place finish in 2018.

Reading come into this game on the back of a 3-1 defeat at Aston Villa in which goalkeeper Jacqueline Burns was sent off, meaning the Northern Ireland international will be suspended for this one.

    Reading v Liverpool (19:00 GMT)

The WSL table does not make comfortable viewing for either side.

Liverpool fought back in their last match from 3-1 down to secure a point at Brighton thanks to a 92nd-minute equaliser from Rachel Furness.

Reading have lost their last two matches since Rachel Rowe scored twice in stoppage time to claim their only win of the campaign at bottom club Leicester.

  5. Team Newspublished at 18:36 Greenwich Mean Time 24 November 2022

    Reading v Liverpool (19:00 GMT)

It's three changes for Reading to the side that lost 3-1 to Aston Villa at the weekend.

Goalkeeper Grace Moloney, forward Charlie Wellings and defender Deanna Cooper all come in with regular number one Jacqueline Burns suspended and Gemma Evans and Lauren Wade dropping to the bench.

And it's four changes for Liverpool who ended a six-match losing run with a draw at Brighton on Sunday.

Gilly Flaherty, Megan Campbell, Missy Bo Kearns and Yana Daniels all miss out.

Charlotte Wardlaw, Rachel Furness, Melissa Lawley and Shanice van de Sanden come into the starting XI.

Defender Taylor Hinds is set to make her 50th league appearance for Liverpool tonight.

  6. Good eveningpublished at 18:30 Greenwich Mean Time 24 November 2022

    Reading v Liverpool (19:00 GMT)

I know there is plenty going on in the world of football right now, but for anyone connected with Reading and Liverpool this game could not be much bigger.

The match was rearranged from the opening day of the season following the death of Queen Elizabeth II.

Since then, both sides have managed just one win in seven matches following a stuttering start to their Women's Super League campaigns.

Kick-off is in around half-an-hour's time.
