    PSG 0-1 Chelsea

Sam Kerr picks up the ball in middle of the PSG half and she has the opportunity to drive towards goal but opts to go backwards and keep the ball.

That might be wise considering how PSG have grown into the game in the last five to 10 minutes. Chelsea just need the ball for a while.

    PSG 0-1 Chelsea

PSG are definitely growing into this game.

Kadeisha Buchanan does brilliantly to intercept a through ball at the full stretch, before Millie Bright has to cut out a cross from the right by Kadidiatou Diani.

Over an hour gone and PSG have just had their first shot on target.

Kadidiatou Diani is played through, but Kadeisha Buchanan does well to push her away from goal and a weak effort is easily saved by Ann-Katrin Berger.

    Better from the hosts though.

    PSG 0-1 Chelsea

PSG have been disappointing so far.

They get a dangerous free-kick about 25 yards out on the right-hand side but it is floated straight into the hands of Ann-Katrin Berger.

    So wasteful.

  5. CLOSE!published at 59 mins

    PSG 0-1 Chelsea

    Almost 2-0!

Chelsea work the ball down the left, but Guro Reiten's cut-back is slightly behind Sam Kerr.

The Australian controls it, turns and looks to place into the bottom corner but it takes a slight nick off Elisa de Almeida and goes behind for a corner.

That runs behind at the back post for a goal-kick.

    Chelsea are pressing.

    PSG 0-1 Chelsea

I mentioned in the build-up that Chelsea would need to need Grace Geyoro quiet if they wanted to be successful tonight.

They are managing that well at the moment.

The France international was linked with a move, external to London in the summer but PSG weren't willing to sell.

    PSG 0-1 Chelsea

Chelsea have defended really well so far.

PSG get to the edge of their 18-yard box again but Niamh Charles is fouled and the pressure is relieved again.

    PSG 0-1 Chelsea

The opening exchanges have been similar to those we saw throughout the first half.

PSG are trying to knock the ball round but as soon as they get near the Chelsea box they are ushered away again.

As I type that a Millie Bright header lands for Laurina Fazer, but her volley skews well over the bar.

Former New Zealand defender Bex Smith on DAZN: "PSG didn't play with any rhythm in the first half. Chelsea will be speaking about how to handle Laurina Fazer because she was the only player who offered any attacking threat for PSG."

It is currently 0-0 between Roma and Slavia Prague in the other game that kicked-off at 20:00 BST.

In case you're just joining us there was 2-0 win for Real Madrid over Vllaznia in the other game in Chelsea's group.

Wolfsburg also beat St Polten 4-0 in Roma's group.

Bex Smith is right, Erin Cuthbert and Sophie Ingle have been superb in midfield for Chelsea.

Cuthbert in particular has broke up play numerous times and she also played the ball into the box for Millie Bright's goal.

It was a superb cross, that perfectly picked out Bright.

Former New Zealand defender Bex Smith on DAZN: "Chelsea's game-plan is just a lot more solid for me. Ingle and Cuthbert are just calming things down in the middle, they are breaking down any attacks that PSG are having and just distributing to their forwards.

"PSG need to do more to get the ball into the wide areas. They can't play through the middle against this Chelsea side that are so defensively set tonight.

"Emma Hayes will be probably be very happy with that first half."

    PSG 0-1 Chelsea

    They can.

The WSL champions have a deserved 1-0 lead at the break.

However, PSG have scored in their last 15 Women's Champions League games, so this is far from over yet.

There will be one minute added on at the end of the first half.

    Can Chelsea see it out?

    PSG 0-1 Chelsea

A second Chelsea goal looks more likely than an equaliser at the moment.

A free-kick is punted into the box by Millie Bright and it lands for Guro Reiten but her effort is blocked behind for a corner.

Did that strike the hand of Ashley Lawrence? I think it did, but referee Ewa Augustyn decides it wasn't in an unnatural position.

    The corner comes to nothing.

    PSG 0-1 Chelsea

Sam Kerr tries to lob Sarah Bouhaddi from about 40 yards but the PSG keeper reads it and gathers easily.

I suppose if anyone can, Sam Kerr can.

    Millie Bright, stop it.

She sprays the ball forward and it releases Sam Kerr through on goal, but the ball takes an awkward bounce and she has to use her arm to control the ball.

    PSG 0-1 Chelsea

The PSG fans haven't stopped singing since their side went a goal down.

We got a brief glimpse of Neymar after the Chelsea goal by the way - he didn't seem too impressed with PSG's performance so far.

They have lacked quality and cohesion in the final third so far. Chelsea will be delighted that Ann-Katrin Berger still hasn't had to make a save with half-time approaching.

  20. YELLOW CARDpublished at 34 mins

    PSG 0-1 Chelsea

Sam Kerr has looked really bright for Chelsea too.

The Australian, who was third in the Ballon d'Or on Monday, turns Amanda Ilestedt and is pulled back.

Referee Ewa Augustyn decides it's worthy of a yellow card.
