Potentially a painful dead-leg for Valverde after getting a whack in his thigh muscle. An ice pack will be on that within 10 minutes, I'm sure.

How good is Fede Valverde by the way? Wow.

The Uruguay midfielder tumbles inside the Sevilla third, but it is not deemed to be a foul.

Valverde is quickly up to his feet but looks in some pain. He can barely move.

    Fede Valverde

Oh my word!! Sevilla are on the ropes and Fede Valverde delivers the knockout blow with a thunderous strike into the top corner.

Madrid work the ball quickly from left to right and two passes later, Valverde takes a touch to set himself and then lashes a unstoppable shot into the far left corner.

Sevilla keeper Bono didn't even see it.

    Lucas Vazquez

    What an impact.

    What a goal!

Sevilla substitute Rafa Mir sloppily gives away possession in the Madrid half and in the blink of an eye they turn defence into a goal.

Substitute Marco Asensio is at the heart of the move as slick passes are exchanged before he plays forward to Rodrygo.

He spots Lucas Vazquez on the outside and an unselfish square pass finds his team-mate, who does the rest by slotting in just seconds after coming on.

That's not the last of the touchline action.

Madrid make a trio of changes...

Lucas Vázquez, Marco Asensio and Toni Rudiger are tasked with turning this game back in Madrid's favour.

First of all, we see two changes for Sevilla.

Experienced midfield duo Isco and Ivan Rakitic are hooked - with rather differing receptions for the former Madrid and Barca players.

Denmark midfielder Thomas Delaney and Spanish forward Rafa Mir - once of Wolves and Nottingham Forest - come on.

Sevilla keeper Bono takes a whack off Vinicius in the process and needs some treatment.

The Madrid fans whistle, but looks like there is some blood there.

Chance! A quick exchange between Vinicius Junior and Rodrygo in a tight spot sees the former stick on the burners to get behind the Sevilla defence.

He rounds the keeper but can't convert from a tight angle. Side-netting.

Going to be 20 minutes or so of attack v defence, I feel.
