  1. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 69 mins

    Real Madrid 1-1 Sevilla

Looks like Sevilla have gone to five at the back.

That's after Jesus Navas is replaced by Jose Angel Carmona, with another change coming moments later when midfielder Oliver Torres goes off and is replaced by Papu Gomes.

    Real Madrid 1-1 Sevilla

Sevilla haven't lost in the four games since Jorge Sampaoli returned to take over from Julen Lopetegui.

  3. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 65 mins

    Real Madrid 1-1 Sevilla

Carlo Ancelotti has seen enough. Time for a change.

The Madrid boss feels he needs more control in the centre of midfield and introduces Eduardo Camavinga in place of his France team-mate Aurélien Tchouaméni.

  4. Postpublished at 64 mins

    Real Madrid 1-1 Sevilla

Sevilla have their tails up. A swarm of red shirts hassle Ferland Mendy into a mistake and the Madrid left-back can only concede a throw-in.

  5. Postpublished at 63 mins

    Real Madrid 1-1 Sevilla

Eventually it leads to an opening, when Vinicius junior sprays the ball out to Dani Carvajal on the right.

A lovely touch kills the ball and allows him to drill low into the six-yard box.

Too close to Bono. That's the Sevilla keeper Bono, no the other one.

    Real Madrid 1-1 Sevilla

    Blimey, another chance for Sevilla.

A sloppy pass from Aurélien Tchouaméni is seized upon by the marauding Gonzalo Montiel, who scampers forward again and plays the ball to Erik Lamela.

This time, on his right foot, Lamela bends the ball well wide of the far post.

Carlo Ancelotti is chewing his gum at an increasing rate.

    Real Madrid 1-1 Sevilla

Almost a second for Sevilla! Madrid are all over the shop.

Jesus Navas swings in a cross from the right, down the corridor of uncertainty, and Madrid old boy Isco is unmarked at the far post.

He swishes the net - but the wrong side f it.

Huge let-off for the home side.

    Erik Lamela

    Well, well, well!

Spurs fans will remember Erik Lamela loves the big occasion and he rises to it once again.

    Sevilla equalise out of nothing.

Right-back Gonzalo Montiel uses the outside of his boot to poke the ball through a gap in the Madrid defence, Lamela timing his run to perfection and brilliantly flick the ball past Thibaut Courtois with the outside of his left boot.

    Incredible technique.

    Real Madrid 1-0 Sevilla

Wait until the full-time whistle to swap shirts, lads.

Dani Carvajal and Oli Torres grab a fistful of each other's shirts.

  14. Postpublished at 51 mins

    Real Madrid 1-0 Sevilla

Lots of possession for both sides, but nothing penetrative from either.

In other news, the lashing rain has stopped.

Half a chance for Madrid. A cross from the left is headed clear by Sevilla defender Marcao.

    Real Madrid 1-0 Sevilla

Rodrygo is Madrid's very own Forrest Gump. Loves running. After another impressive burst he gives the ball away in the Sevilla half.

  17. Postpublished at 47 mins

    Real Madrid 1-0 Sevilla

Take better care of the ball, especially in our own half. That would have a key message from Sevilla boss Jorge Sampaoli.

  18. Postpublished at 46 mins

    Real Madrid 1-0 Sevilla

Rodrygo darts forward from the centre circle like Usain Bolt from the 100m blocks.

After Sevilla win back possession, then give it away again, the Brazilian has the chance to shoot from the edge of the area.

A Sevilla defender is well placed to block and the away side survive.

    HT: Real Madrid 1-0 Sevilla

Think it's fair to say Carlo Ancelotti might be gently reminding his side that this game is far from over.

Perhaps it could have been if they'd taken a bit more care in promising attacking positions.
