Bristol City v Lincoln (19:45 GMT)
The Carabao Cup may come as a welcome distraction for Bristol City. They had made a flying start to the season but have now won just two their last 12 games in the Championship.
In the cup, meanwhile, they have had some good results - seeing off Coventry City and Wycombe Wanderers.
Lincoln, meanwhile, are looking to bounce back from their FA Cup exit at the weekend, when they lost to non-league Chippenham Town.
Bournemouth v Everton (19:45 GMT)
In an unusual twist this is the first of two Bournemouth v Everton games in the next five days.
On Saturday it's all about the Premier League relegation battle, with the two sitting in the two positions just outside the drop zone.
But today it's a match for a place in the Carabao Cup fourth round.
Brentford v Gillingham (20:05 GMT)
Brentford boss Thomas Frank says his side are playing to "win" the Carabao Cup.
The Bees are winless in four matches and Frank has stressed his side must continue to turn their home ground into a "fortress" having only lost to Arsenal there this season.
"For me we are playing to try to win it," he said. "It would be a huge thing for the club. I want to try and win as many games as possible.
"We’ve lost one game at home and we’ve really tried to create a fortress. That needs to be against Gillingham, Wolves, Manchester City or whoever we play at home. We need to be really difficult to play against."
Stevenage v Charlton (19:45 GMT)
This is Stevenage's first ever time in the League Cup third round.
They are flying this season, second in League One and into the FA Cup second round.
"We’ve watched some of their recent games and they are a really well-organised team,” Charlton boss Ben Garner said.
"They are good at what they do and they have got a lot of good players within their squad."
The League One Addicks have beaten Brighton U21s, in the EFL Trophy, and Coalville in the FA Cup in their last two games.
Garner said: "We set ourselves a target of winning these three cup games and we’re two down with one to go now. The away end is sold out which is fantastic."
Osasuna v Barcelona (20:30 GMT)
Gerard Pique is on the Barcelona bench tonight in his final game before retiring.
The Spanish defender made his Nou Camp farewell on Saturday.

Burnley v Crawley (19:45 GMT)
Burnley are flying high in the Championship with Vincent Kompany looking to mastermind an immediate return to the Premier League.
They will be confident of avoiding an upset against a side struggling at the bottom end of League Two.
Crawley were also thrashed 4-1 by Accrington Stanley in the FA Cup at the weekend, so will need to pull something special out of the bag to upset their Championship opponents.
Leicester v Newport (19:45 GMT)
Brendan Rodgers is preparing his Leicester players for another tough challenge as they prepare to take on Newport County.
The Foxes needed penalties to see off Stockport in the previous round and Rodgers is not willing to take chances against their latest lower-league opponents.
“We want to get through,” he said. “I changed the team about when we went to Stockport and we nearly went out. I don’t want to do that.
“I want to go through and I’ve shown that every time I’ve been here in the cup competitions.
“We’ll make some changes, naturally, but there won’t be many. A lot of the players need to be ready to go again.”

Even if James Maddison was playing tonight and scored a hat-trick, I think Gareth Southgate already knows his squad.
Maddison can do no more, he's been outstanding and a lot of people would be surprised if he didn't make the England squad.
Brentford v Gillingham (20:05 GMT)
The wait goes on...
Brentford's match against Gillingham has been pushed back a further five minutes, to 20:05 GMT.
But the League Two side have now safely made it to the ground.

Gary O'Neil has worked really hard to get his coaching qualifications. I think that these young managers need someone between them and the owners.
When it gets tough they need someone to calm things down in the boardroom and give them that opportunity to get through the sticky patches.
Bournemouth v Everton (19:45 GMT)
This could be one of Gary O'Neil's last games as Bournemouth caretaker boss if reports are to be believed.
TeamTalk , externalsuggest the Cherries have decided to look elsewhere for a permanent manager - and O'Neil could end up going to Luton.
The Cherries went six games unbeaten after O'Neil replaced Scott Parker - but have lost their last four now.
Cherries fan Craig Beazley, of UTCIADO, said in the BBC's Bournemouth Tuesday talking point: "O’Neil still has the fans' backing for getting us out of the situation we were in. That unbeaten run is nothing to be scoffed at. If these are his last two games in charge, he should hold his head high."
