When Norway get forward, they look so dangerous. Maya Le Tissier gives it away at the back and Emilie Haavi picks out Guro Reiten, unmarked in the box.

It's slightly behind the Chelsea midfielder and she chops the ball just wide of the left post. Ellie Roebuck wasn't getting there!

Lauren James is one of the most talented England players we've seen since Kelly Smith.

She's got so much potential.

England are growing into this now. Rachel Daly holds it up well in the middle and Ella Toone then finds Lauren James on the edge of the box. She can't quite turn to get a shot off.

Nice work down the right. Maya Le Tissier links up with Manchester United team-mate Nikita Parris and they win a throw-in in the corner.

Millie Bright's diagonal pass is nodded down for Chloe Kelly. She does well to shrug off an initial challenge, bundles through the next but the cross is deflected away from Rachel Daly and into the keeper's arms.

Niamh Charles loses the ball on the left but sprints back and puts in a good challenge. It's switched across to Maya Le Tissier and she's pushed back towards goal. She manages to keep hold of it and plays a nice pass into the middle. A good showing from both youngsters.

Rachel Daly hasn't had much to work with so far but she chases down a back pass and goalkeeper Aurora Mikalsen's clearance bounces off Daly and rolls dangerously behind for a goalkick.

Lauren James breaks away in the middle and lays it off to Maya Le Tissier. She uses Ella Toone inside but her pass is misread by James. England work hard to win it back straight away.

Chloe Kelly wins a corner and opts to play it in low, looking for Keira Walsh in what was clearly a practised routine. It doesn't come off.

England are on the ball trying to find space to open up this Norway defence.

Just seen another replay of that earlier chance for Emilie Haavi. There's a crucial challenge from Maya Le Tissier just as she shoots which does enough to close down the angle. Important intervention from the debutant.

It's a different kind of test because Norway have shown in the last few minutes that they are going to sit deep and defend.

It is about England figuring that out and trying to pass the ball a bit quicker.

Norway are getting up the pitch and committing players forward when they break that defensive shape and England have found that difficult to deal with.

Chloe Kelly's cross is blocked on the left and Norway immediately look to attack. Eventually it's back at the feet of Keira Walsh in midfield.

Again, it's almost a big break for Norway as England lose possession on the far side. It's one ball through the middle but Millie Bright gets there first. If she hadn't, Norway were in.

It's lifted over the top looking for Nikita Parris but she's offside. England are controlling possession already and we're only four minutes in - but Norway showed their threat with that earlier chance.

Ooh. A BIG chance for Norway early on as England lose possession in the middle. It's slipped through to Emilie Haavi and she is denied by Ellie Roebuck at her near post.

England have had such a successful 2022. They will want to continue that.

Norway were hurt by the 8-0 defeat but this is certainly a test for England.
