    King's Lynn 0-2 Stevenage

    Rachel Brown-Finnis
    Ex-England goalkeeper on BBC One

King's Lynn just haven't switched on. In the first half players were wrestling to make sure Stevenage didn't get any free headers, and Luke Norris steps in between the two centre-halves and has the simplest of finishes.

As much hard work as King's Lynn did in the first half, at the moment it's all for nothing.

It was a wonderful, beautiful, well-earned goal. The build-up play was excellent. Stevenage had had the ball for the last couple of minutes and King's Lynn just could not get it.

King's Lynn won't feel they're out of it but Stevenage have had one piece of cutting edge and composure - that's the difference.

    HT: King's Lynn 0-0 Stevenage

There has been some great praise for King's Lynn from Glenn Murray and David James at half-time.

So what do the stats say?

These sides are pretty equal on possession, and while the hosts have had more shots with six they have failed to get any on target.

Paul Jones made one huge save to keep Jamie Reid out at the other end, which remains the biggest moment of the day so far.

If you knew nothing about either of these teams you would think that King's Lynn were the team in the league and Stevenage were the lower league side because of the way they are playing.

Stevenage are capable of playing some good football, they can get in behind but they need to be more composed.

But only in three games this season have they won by more than one goal so as well as they are doing, they are only gettting over the line by the odd goal. For it to be 0-0 is not a surprise.

King's Lynn have been really good and it doesn't look like Stevenage are 48 places above them.

King's Lynn have controlled the game and I've been really impressed with Josh Barrett. Whenever he gets on the ball he looks like he can make things happen.

King's Lynn are very much in this game which has been thoroughly enjoyable.

No goals yet but the Lynn manager Tommy Widdrington will be happy with that performance so far.

They just have to make the most of any chances they get in the second half.
