It was just a crazy, crazy three-four minute spell at the beginning of the second half that saw Stevenage just dominate Lynn who only have themselves to blame for how they handled it.

They can be proud overall for getting this far. But ultimately a bit disappointing after such a good first half.

Steve Evans will be absolutely delighted afer what I can only imagine were a few harsh words at half-time to try to prompt a reaction.

They scored three sensational goals. It was a pretty effective way of shutting up shop.

King's Lynn have certainly got a lot of positives to take into their league form.

It's the first time non-league Alvechurch have made the second round of the FA Cup and they are the lowest ranked side left in the competition

Do Alvechurch, the lowest ranked side left in the competition, have another giant killing in them?

Their chairman Richard Thorndike believes so and said earlier in the week that as far as second round ties go, this is a "perfect" one for The Church, because their League One opponents Forest Green are similar to Cheltenham, who they dispatched in the previous round.

Forest Green have made it this far thanks to their star man Connor Wickham, who scored a stunning goal from the halfway line in the second round.

They'll lean on the former Premier League striker and their leading goal scorer to do the business again today.

Geographically, only an hour's car journey separates the two sides. But in football reality there is a gulf of four divisions and 92 league places between them.

But this is the FA Cup. Anything can and will happen. We can't wait for this one.

Stevenage have settled this tie right down.

They are holding their shape well and allowing King's Lynn to work the ball around in search of a chance.

Nothing of note is being created.

With just over 15 minutes of this tie remaining we will start to look forward to some of the other ties today.

Whether Stevenage have eased off a little bit is possible.

King's Lynn have to retain hope.

Christian Oxlade-Chamberlain has looked solid in the middle for King's Lynn since coming on as a first-half substitute.

He again takes the ball and surges forward. This time he only has eyes for goal and lets rip from a long way out. The effort is also a long way off target.
