Tom Ince will be the happier of the two bosses at half-time given that his team are in front, although there will be frustration over that penalty miss.
Swansea have had some decent spells in possession but, having failed to take the chances they created, find themselves behind once again.
It is now nine times in the last 11 games that Swansea have fallen behind.
As we mentioned earlier, Russell Martin's side have taken 14 points from losing positions this season, the joint best record in the Championship alongside Burnley.
Can they do it again?

It was a great response from Swansea after they went a goal down, they moved the ball really well with a purpose and got it out to Sorinola on a couple of occasions, [he was] putting really good balls in to a dangerous area.
They made Reading defend.
The hosts lead at the break thanks to Andy Carroll's latest goal against Swansea.
It could have been better for Reading had Yakou Meite not blazed over the top from the spot, while Ollie Cooper and Joel Piroe have had big chances for Swansea.

This is a must-win for Swansea if they want to build a little bit of a platform going in to the new year and keep in touch with the play-offs.
This is a big big game for them.

Both managers are talking to their players as we wait for the game to restart.
Half-time is not far away but it remains to be seen how long this delay will last.

That was a big chance.
The ball then reaches Ryan Manning at the far post, but his effort flies back across the face. That was another opportunity.

Looking at the shape of Swansea even out of possession it looks solid with Joe Allen in there, Jay Fulton and Matt Grimes, a lot more compact.
I think that is when Swansea are at their best.
Reading 1-0 Swansea City
The Joe Allen free-kick which follows Tom Holmes' foul is overhit.
Once again, it is easy for Paul Ince's defence.
Reading 1-0 Swansea City
Tom Holmes is booked.
He can have not complaints after sliding in late on Ollie Cooper.

Andy Carroll is a handful already if it is going to be Ben Cabango picking him up, it is going to be a tough evening for him.
Reading 1-0 Swansea City
A dangerous ball into the Reading box from Matt Grimes has Joel Piroe interested, but Joe Lumley just does enough as he comes off his line to deal with the danger.

What a terrible penalty, you won't see a worse penalty this season than what we have just seen.
I don't believe it was a penalty in the first place.
Reading 1-0 Swansea City
That was a dreadful effort from the spot from Yajou Meite.
He was leaning back and the ball sailed well over.
It brings back memories of Harry Kane's recent penalty miss for England - which Swansea's fans are pointing out.

Yakou Meite blazes the penalty over the top.

Reading have a penalty for grappling at a corner.

Can we play them every week, you might hear the former England man ask.
