US journalist dies in Qatar

Some sad news emanating from the World Cup in the death of US journalist Grant Wahl.
The 48-year-old collapsed during extra time of Netherlands against Argentina with early reports suggesting he may have had a heart attack but these have yet to be confirmed.
Last month Mr Wahl was briefly detained by Qatari authorities for trying to enter a stadium wearing a rainbow shirt, in support of LGBT rights.
The Independent suggests Jordan Pickford - he's good with his feet y'know - is up for taking a penalty if it goes to a shootout against France tonight.
Another rallying call in the Daily Mail as it leads on Gareth Southgate asking his players to be heroes.
Apparently, he's considering 'dad dancing' if England go through.
That didn't work for Brazil coach Tite...

And we'll see if Cristiano Ronaldo's Portugal can fight off the Atlas Lions as Morocco aim to become the first African nation to reach the semi-finals of a World Cup.
A fair bit going on then.
