    Bournemouth 2-4 Burnley

There will be no hat-trick for Anass Zaroury, who departs to be replaced by Darko Churlinov.

There are just under 10 minutes left for Bournemouth to try and alter the outcome here. They've offered little in the last 15 minutes. In fact, they look spent.

  3. CLOSE!published at 16:42 Greenwich Mean Time 7 January 2023

    Blackpool 3-0 Nottingham Forest

    It should be four!

Jerry Yates drives into the box and cuts back onto his left foot but he sweeps his effort wide of the target.

Sometimes in those situations you over-defend, drop too deep and no one takes charge of the situation. It is a great header in the conditions, a wonderful finish from Lee Ndlovu.

    Bournemouth 2-4 Burnley

"You're going down, we're going up," sing the Burnley fans to their Bournemouth counterparts.

On this evidence, you'd find it hard to disagree with them.

  7. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 16:40 Greenwich Mean Time 7 January 2023

    Blackpool 3-0 Nottingham Forest

Manchester City loanee Morgan Rogers is on for Blackpool, with the third goalscorer CJ Hamilton making way.

Loic Mbe Soh is on for Forest in place of Neco Williams.

It's been a tangerine dream at Bloomfield Road.

And very much a day at the seaside to forget for Forest.

    Ten minutes to go.

GOAL - Middlesbrough 1-4 Brightonpublished at 16:38 Greenwich Mean Time 7 January 2023

    Alexis Mac Allister

No coming back now for Boro!

Alexis Mac Allister underlines his presence in this game in this half with his second of the game. Brighton attack down the right and the Argentine makes the perfect movement in the box to slot in Pascal Gross' low pull back.

  11. Postpublished at 16:38 Greenwich Mean Time 7 January 2023

    Middlesbrough 1-3 Brighton

    Chance for Boro.

They break and Chuba Akpom is set up in the box. He is on an angle and more than capable of scoring but the low shot is poor and easily saved.

You feel this probably needed to go in if the home side were to have a chance of staging a late comeback.

Brentford make seven changes from their impressive 3-1 win over Liverpool on Monday.

Bees boss Thomas Frank said their League Cup exit to Gillingham was their "biggest disappointment" this season in his pre-match press conference yesterday, so it is it a bit of surprise to see him making so many changes.

Only Ben Mee, Mads Roerslev, Mathias Jensen and Yoane Wissa survive that victory.

New centre forward Kevin Schade is on the bench.

    Blackpool 3-0 Nottingham Forest

    Stephen Warnock
Former England defender on Final Score

It is incredible there is a sense of "we may as well go after it." It is another defensive mistake from Neco Williams who doesn't follow his runner. But that takes nothing away from the finish from CJ Hamilton.

  15. Postpublished at 16:33 Greenwich Mean Time 7 January 2023

    Hull City 0-1 Fulham

Hull City need to find a goal but it has been 30 minutes since the hosts last attempted a shot. Fulham are doing an efficient job of protecting their lead.

  16. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 16:32 Greenwich Mean Time 7 January 2023

Alexis Mac Allister has been an absolute superstar since coming on at the break.

He curls a superb free-kick against the post. So unlucky not to add to his stunning flicked finish earlier in the half.

Who saw this coming? I'm not sure Blackpool fans did.

Their side are winless in nine games remember, a run stretching back to October.

But their afternoon is just getting better and better.

    Bournemouth 2-4 Burnley

Off the line and then off the bar and post!

This is remarkable! Ryan Christie's steered header from a corner is nodded off the line before Lloyd Kelly's follow up header hits the bar and then the post before being hacked away from the goal.

When you see that, you think - this isn't Bournemouth's day.
