Can it really be considered a shock when the in-form Championship leaders beat a flagging side sat 16th in the Premier League?

The Clarets looked the top-flight side here. The Cherries need a lift from somewhere or they could well be the team replaced by Vincent Kompany's lads come May.

    Brilliant defending from Luke McNally!

The centre-back slides in crucially to stop Dominic Solanke getting in on goal. We're into four added minutes.

    Blackpool want a fifth!

The hosts force a corner but James Husband can't divert his shot on target as he slides in at the back post.

The home support are enjoying themselves behind the goal. The ball is sent into the stands and I'm not sure it's coming back...

Big finish there from Yates. Poveda cuts it back and Yates lashes it in under the crossbar. It is a wonderful finish from Yates. Blackpool have been ruthless.

This should be the benchmark for Blackpool now for the rest of the season. They should be looking to try and secure their position in the Championship.

    Brilliant finish!

Substitute Dennis Undav adds some icing to the cake. He is found in the box and Middlesbrough fatally stand off him. He take a touch, picks his spot and smashes an angled drive into the far bottom corner.

This has become a very harsh lesson for Michael Carrick and his promotion hopefuls.
