Crystal Palace 0-0 Southampton
Saints' current six-game losing streak actually began here at Selhurst Park. A 1-0 loss thanks to an Odsonne Edouard goal. The striker is in the side again here, looking to double down on the damage he can do to the visitors.
Gillingham 0-0 Leicester
It's a miserable day weather-wise at Priestfield Stadium but Gillingham fans have turned up in numbers. The FA Cup trophy - lifted by Liverpool's Jordan Henderson at Wembley last May - is on the side of the pitch to remind players what the big prize is. Are we about to witness an upset?
Tottenham 0-0 Portsmouth
It's Portsmouth who have made the brighter start at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Harry Kane is back to head a cross away for a corner and a huge roar of encouragement goes up in the away end, but Spurs get it clear.
Crystal Palace 0-0 Southampton
It's wet and it's windy. These might be two Premier League teams, but there's still an element of a raw third-round tie about this.
Palace with just two changes. A strong XI from a manager who knows all about winning the FA Cup.
Five changes for Saints, who just need to start building confidence.
Tottenham 0-0 Portsmouth
It's a strong line-up for Tottenham today, with Harry Kane and Son Heung-min among the starting XI at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Spurs fans don't need reminding about their long wait for a trophy and the hosts will be aiming to end Portsmouth's hopes of causing an upset as quickly as possible here.
The home fans will expect nothing but smooth progress to the fourth round today.
And away we go. The first five games of this FA Cup third-round Saturday are getting under way...
Bottom of the Football League against the 2016 Premier League champions. Fourteenth in League One at home to the current Premier League leaders.
Chuck in three non-league teams, a couple of top-flight managers under pressure and the fact at least five Premier League teams will fall at the first hurdle, and what do we have?
The perfect ingredients for FA Cup third round weekend.
Shocks, drama, wild celebrations and tears. Strap yourselves in. It's going to be wild.

Gillingham manager Neil Harris speaking to BBC One: "I've had really positive conversations with the new owner, much needed injection of excitement in the building. They want to invest in the infrastructure , they want to invest in the football club and and off the pitch.
"Today we are just going to enjoy the occasion. It's a great opportunity to welcome world class manager and world class players to the stadium.
"It's about trying to contain world class players, trying to put them out of their rhythm, knock them out of their stride as much as possible and when we get a chance to lay a glove on them, we have to take it.

It's a special time because there are opportunities for all teams to compete against the bigger teams. It gives Gillingham a chance to reignite their season.
They are going through a bit of a torrid time at the moment. Same for Leicester, their form has not been too great so they want to get back on track and this is an opportunity for them as well.

This competition is a real possibility for Tottenham. The fans want it, they want silverware. This gives them a platform.
I saw a rekindling of Harry Kane's and Son Heung-min's partnership in their 4-0 win at Crystal Palace.
As long as Tottenham can keep the back door closed they've always got a chance.
Gillingham v Leicester (12:30 GMT)
It's a long way from Qatar to Gillingham but Youri Tielemans and Nampalys Mendy - who played for Belgium and Senegal respectively at the World Cup - are on FA Cup third round duty for Leicester at Priestfield Stadium.

For the Leicester players it is a no-win situation. They are expected to win.
For the Gillingham players it is their cup final. When you get through you want to draw a Premier League side. They will be absolutely buzzing.
They will be asking questions of Leicester, who should brush them aside with relative ease, but they won't be able to play football how they would like.
It will be a difficult afternoon for Leicester, regardless of the result.

The Nathan Jones appointment was a strange one. They're a very young side Southampton, I think you're looking for the first time in a while that Southampton might face the drop.

For Leicester's players, it's a no-win situation. For Gillingham it's their cup final. This is what they dreamt about when they reached the third round - to draw a Premier League side and a team that won the FA Cup not too long ago.

Leicester travel to Gillingham after three losses on the spin. The Leicester players won't fancy visiting Priestfield on a cold Saturday afternoon in January. It's very different to their usual glamorous surroundings.

Bottom of the Football League playing the recent Premier League champions, that's the beauty of the FA Cup. It's why fans love the FA Cup because the underdog gets an opportunity. These games are made for heroes.

There is a lot to be said for momentum and winning when it comes to the FA Cup.
There can be expectation to get your sleeves rolled up and see what the other team are about.
