Chesterfield start the second half as they finished the first - on the front foot. Tim Akinola has a shot for the non-league side who are being roared on by their fans against West Brom.

  2. CLOSE!published at 16:17 Greenwich Mean Time 7 January 2023

    Blackpool 1-0 Nottingham Forest

It's desperate stuff from Blackpool but somehow the ball stays out of Chris Maxwell's goal!

Emmanuel Dennis is in again but Marvin Ekpiteta gets a block in, before Lewis O'Brien sees his follow-up shot deflected just wide of the target.

The hosts make the first change, as Jerry Yates replaces Jake Beesley.

  3. goal

GOAL - Middlesbrough 1-3 Brightonpublished at 16:16 Greenwich Mean Time 7 January 2023

    Alexis Mac Allister

    What a cheeky finish!

This has all the class of a World Cup winner. Brighton break but look to have seen their chance evaporate after Evan Ferguson is forced to check his run. However, he sets up Pervis Estupinan for a fired cross that Alexis Mac Allister outrageously Cruyff flicks into the bottom corner of the net.

    Simply brilliant.

  4. CLOSE!published at 16:15 Greenwich Mean Time 7 January 2023

    Blackpool 1-0 Nottingham Forest

Another good chance for Forest, and this time it's Lewis O'Brien who slides on to Emmanuel Dennis' pass but he scoops the ball over.

  5. Postpublished at 16:13 Greenwich Mean Time 7 January 2023

    Hull City 0-1 Fulham

Harvey Vale races on to a ball over the top as Hull City search for an equaliser, but he gets his cross all wrong and the chance evaporates.

Tom Cairney then tries to immediately punish the hosts, but his effort from the edge of the box flies over.

  6. Postpublished at 16:13 Greenwich Mean Time 7 January 2023

    Bournemouth 2-3 Burnley

    What a tie this is!

Burnley are so close to making it 4-2 as they break to set up Anass Zaroury on the left of the box. He beats a man and then draws a fine save from Mark Travers.

  7. Postpublished at 16:11 Greenwich Mean Time 7 January 2023

    Bournemouth 2-3 Burnley

Bournemouth have come out with the bit between their teeth. The home fans have rediscovered their voice.

  8. Elsewhere in the FA Cuppublished at 16:11 Greenwich Mean Time 7 January 2023

Championship club Rotherham United equalise at League One Ipswich as Conor Washington's penalty makes it 1-1.

No goals so far in the tie between Shrewsbury-Sunderland where the visitors have 15-year-old Chris Rigg on the bench.

He was born in 2007. It's enough to make you feel very old...

  9. Postpublished at 16:11 Greenwich Mean Time 7 January 2023

    Blackpool 1-0 Nottingham Forest

    Charlie Adam
Former Blackpool midfielder on BBC Radio 5 Live

Good play from Dennis, he is in that wide area and goes one on one with Husband. Surridge has got to finish it, it is nearly an open goal. Dennis has been lively in this game.

  10. Postpublished at 16:10 Greenwich Mean Time 7 January 2023

    Blackpool 1-0 Nottingham Forest

    Charlie Adam
Former Blackpool midfielder on BBC Radio 5 Live

Forest have caused problems when they have kept the ball well. They need to keep the patience, keep building the play, finding those little pockets.

Important to get Gustavo Scarpa on the ball because he can see a pass and hopefully Dennis and Surridge can be in the right place at the right time.

  11. CLOSE!published at 16:10 Greenwich Mean Time 7 January 2023

    Blackpool 1-0 Nottingham Forest

Nottingham Forest are pushing for an equaliser early in the second half and Blackpool are struggling to get out.

That's great work by Emmanuel Dennis to beat his man on the right and send in a cross, but Sam Surridge misses the target with his close-range header. The Premier League side are getting closer...

  12. goal

GOAL - Bournemouth 2-3 Burnleypublished at 16:09 Greenwich Mean Time 7 January 2023

    Dominic Solanke

    Bournemouth right back in it!

Ryan Christie is fed the ball in his stride and he flicks a fine pass into the box for Dominic Solanke. The forward's first effort is saved but only to send the ball spinning into the air for him to head home.

    Just what the Cherries needed.

This tie has much more to give, you can feel it.

  13. Postpublished at 16:07 Greenwich Mean Time 7 January 2023

    Middlesbrough 1-2 Brighton

    Big chance for Brighton!

A cross is chipped in from the left and Solly March rises unmarked to head on target. His effort is too close to Zack Steffen, though, and the home keeper saves.

  14. YELLOW CARDpublished at 16:07 Greenwich Mean Time 7 January 2023

    Hull City 0-1 Fulham

Harrison Reed is down and in some pain early in the second half following a crunching tackle by Callum Elder. That will, rightly, be a yellow card.

  15. SUBSTITUTIONSpublished at 16:06 Greenwich Mean Time 7 January 2023

    Burnley 1-3 Bournemouth

No surprise to see Bournemouth make changes at the break.

Kieffer Moore, Jack Stacey and Lloyd Kelly are all on. Jordan Zemura, Marcos Senesi and Joe Rothwell the men making way.

  16. Postpublished at 16:05 Greenwich Mean Time 7 January 2023

    Blackpool 1-0 Nottingham Forest

Steve Cooper changed his entire XI from his side's win over Southampton. Premier League survival is of course the priority for Forest this season, but how long will he leave things in the second half before making his first substitutions here?

Emmanuel Dennis is annoyed with himself as he sends a shot into the stands.

  19. Chesterfield closing in on famous winpublished at 16:01 Greenwich Mean Time 7 January 2023

    HT: Chesterfield 3-2 West Brom

Chesterfield are close to producing something very, very special thanks to this man. Armando Dobra scored two of the non-league club's three goals against West Brom in a pulsating first 45 minutes.

Dobra, 21, is a former Ipswich player who has represented Albania at under-21 level.

This is the first time Chesterfield and West Brom have met in a competitive game since 1948. They're certainly making up for lost time.

    It's been a cracker.

  20. On for a cup upset?published at 15:59 Greenwich Mean Time 7 January 2023

    HT: Blackpool 1-0 Nottingham Forest

Marvin Ekpiteta was the unlikely goalscorer for Blackpool, taking advantage of some terrible defending to reward the hosts for their confident start.

Steve Cooper will still feel confident his side can turn it around of course, with Forest responding well to that setback with nine attempts in the last 30 minutes of the half.
