Oh gosh.
A delay to the delayed kick-off.
Now there's an issue with the referee's technical equipment.
Long gone are the days when they ran on to the pitch with whistle in hand and cards in pocket.

And they said Harry Kane was going to be a one-season wonder.

Despite the uncertainty and the lack of silverware, Harry Kane is closing in on Tottenham greatness.
The England skipper is one shy of 265 goals for Spurs, which would equal Jimmy Greaves' club record.
The 29-year-old is two short of becoming the third player to net 200 Premier League goals, after Alan Shearer (260) and Wayne Rooney (208).

The way Farhad Moshiri runs the club is erratic. There appears to be no consistent thought, no overarching vision, no plans and his managerial appointments doesn't add up. He brings a manager and offers them a natural power, but also has a director of football. The recruitment is a mess.
Look at the money they've spent and spent plenty of money since Moshiri took over.
It's an identity issues and the way Moshiri runs Everton Football Club. The basic issue Everton have is their history is a real burden for becoming a modern club. They should be looking at young talent and look at the club that are punching above their weight - Brentford and Brighton.
They've all had a clear identity, a sense of what they want to be and who they are. They have an acceptance of where they stand.

Fulham boss Marco Silva tells Sky Sports: "We have been doing really well this season, we have been consistent as a team. I feel the team is getting stronger and the position in the table is a consequence of the performances and results.
"Normally when you see the story of the last few years against the big teams, it is not a good story. Not just against the big teams, the others too, it has not been correct. You remind me of this and that is not problem, it is a fact we have to be aware of. The Chelsea game was an important evening for us, it is in our hands to change (the results). One of the main things for us this season is that we are going to be competitive and we will embrace the challenge.
"They are really strong, physical team. Five at the back and two in midfield with a top striker. They have quality, are compact and have been conceding not the normal number of goals for a Tottenham team. We are here to focus on ourselves and our strengths."
On a delayed kick-off: "We knew since we arrived here we will kick off 15 minutes late, it will not affect anything."

If you start and look further back to 2016, the managers they've had in. Who has really been a success?
I think you could maybe say Carlo Ancelotti and can be very happy with that. But the rest like Marco Silva and Rafa Benitez were all in the same situation as Frank Lampard.

Mr Squonkster: As much as I hate saying this (as a Spurs fan), but surely Arsenal could technically be on for a 107 point season, so that or anything from 105 points to 100 is possible?

There has been a lot of talk about England skipper Harry Kane and his Tottenham future recently.
Kane still has 18 months left on his present deal and Manchester United are known to be interested in a player they have coveted for a number of seasons.
However, Kane is understood to be committed to Spurs, wants to succeed there and is open to discussing a new contract.
Evidently it will have to be right for the 29-year-old but it is only if that doesn’t happen that he will start to look elsewhere.

All is not well at Spurs, part II.
Antonio Conte's uncertain future is not the main problem at Spurs - it's what happens with captain and talisman Harry Kane.
That's the view of Telegraph journalist Luke Edwards, who views Conte's reticence to sign a new deal at Spurs as a secondary consideration to Kane's future. After all, his contract expires in the summer of 2024.
"Conte has never sounded that happy ever since he went to Spurs and it would not be a surprise if he left this summer," Edwards told the Transfer Gossip Daily podcast.
"However, he was brought in to appease Kane and close the gap but I don't think anything from the last 18 months suggests Spurs are any closer to winning trophies.
"At best, they will scrape fourth this season and I don't think that will satisfy Kane. I think it is time for him to leave Spurs."

All is not well at Spurs.
About 60 Tottenham fans held a protest against club owners ENIC and chairman Daniel Levy at the training ground in Enfield on Saturday.
Spurs are yet to make a signing in the winter transfer window and have been struggling with their form this season.
A 2-0 home defeat by north London rivals and Premier League leaders Arsenal on Sunday, was followed by a 4-2 loss at Manchester City on Thursday.
The supporters told BBC Sport they were protesting over a lack of investment in the football side and claimed there was no communication between the board and the fans.
On Tuesday, Tottenham Hotspur Supporters' Trust reiterated its calls for the board to outline the strategy and vision for the club, calling for "clarity and commitment".
Spurs, who moved into their £1bn stadium in 2019, spent 169m euros (£148m) on new players in the summer, according to Transfermarkt, external, on new players, including £60m deal for Brazil forward Richarlison.

Regardless of what was going on off the field and the animosity amongst with the fans have with the board. On the pitch, Frank Lampard was getting away with it in some respects and I do think that he's unfortunate in many respects because of what he took over.
I thought he did brilliantly to keep Everton in the Premier League. They haven't kicked on and they are mitigating circumstances like selling Richarlison in the summer and not replacing him.
It was a difficult job and he was still a rookie manager. To go in when he did after Rafa Benitez, it takes some courage to do that.

Huge night for Spurs and Conte’s future here. I’m an eternal optimist when it comes to Tottenham but I still believe that if we can get two in of the quality of last January window, then Conte can turn things around, finish 4th and even stay next season.

Tottenham boss Antonio Conte admits his leaky Spurs side must fix the "relegation-like" defensive form that is damaging their top-four bid.
Conte's team have conceded 21 goals in their past 10 Premier League matches - losing six of those - to slip five points adrift of the Champions League places after a promising start to the campaign.
They have shipped four at Manchester City, three to Leeds and two each to Bournemouth, Manchester United, Liverpool, Aston Villa, Brentford, Arsenal and Newcastle - and ahead of tonight's trip to Fulham, Conte said it must stop.
"In every game we are conceding at least two goals, this is an average like a team that is fighting for the relegation zone," Conte admitted.
"On one side we have progress, on another side compared to last season we are doing less. A team like Tottenham, in the last 10 games we conceded 21 goals, it's not possible for a club that wants to stay there [in the top-four race].
"In my opinion we have improved a lot the way to face important opponents like Manchester City, Liverpool. But at the end the most important thing remains the final result.
"We want to be realistic but at the same time in myself I dream to play Champions League. There are 18, 19 games left in the Premier League but we have to do something more if the dream is to become reality.
"I think maybe we have to improve the spirit, the collaboration, the will, a desire to suffer also. Because maybe we have forgotten to suffer, to understand if we want to win sometimes you have to suffer, like last season, to defend a result."

Fulham's return to the Premier League has been highly impressive.
The Cottagers have won three of their six Premier League London derbies this season - they have never won four in a single top-flight campaign.
Marco Silva's men are looking to win three consecutive Premier League home matches for the first time since a run of four between April and September 2012.
They last did so within a single season in April 2011.

Trevor Gladwin: Sean Dyche short-term to the end of the season? Probably not ideal with an open transfer window, but Everton don't have any money anyway, right?
