I liked Enzo Fernandez. He has come in and kept it simple. It has been difficult for him as the deep man on his own. That has sometimes left him isolated.

Kaustubh Joshi: Let’s be honest, as poor as Havertz is, Enzo looks every penny worth the British record transfer. Imperious so far.

Dayo Oseni: Without a proper striker in this Chelsea’s squad, goals will be difficult to come by.

Alf Wilson: Fernandez is pinging it about like nobody's business. Absolute mustard. Just a pity Chelsea are still kidding themselves that Havertz is a number 9 in any universe.

Chelsea have stopped the opposition from scoring a first-half goal in 16 of their 21 games. Only Newcastle United (18) have done this more often in the Premier League this season.

Nobody had more touches than Enzo Fernandez's 59 in the first half.

The Argentine completed 39 of his 45 passes.

He made more tackles, five, and won more, four, than anybody else on either team.

He won possession nine times and won seven duels - again more than the other 21 players.

So good start for the £107m man.

The first half of Chelsea's Premier League matches this season have seen just 18 goals scored (nine for, nine against), the joint fewest of any team.

It's not been a great first half. Some nice touches from both sides but little real danger.

Just one minute added on.

The closest either team have come to a goal by a mile.

Hakim Ziyech plays a lovely ball over the top to Kai Havertz. The German lets the ball bounce twice in the box and then lobs it over Bernd Leno, but the shot comes back off the near post and Fulham clear.

Kepa blasts a clearance straight at Andreas Pereira but luckily for him the ball bounces away from the Fulham player. Big let-off really.

A couple of times in a couple of times Aleksandar Mitrovic just fails to find Andreas Pereira with the ball. It's been an almost game for both teams.

Not the best game of Hakim Ziyech's career. He almost fails to control Conor Gallagher's pass and then can't find the run of Reece James.

Almost a big chance for Fulham. Kenny Tete bangs in a great cross which Willian tries to head down to Aleksandar Mitrovic but it won't quite land to the Serb 10 yards out.

Enzo Fernandez wins the ball off Andreas Pereira in the centre circle and plays a lovely ball forward to Hakim Ziyech. Tim Ream forces Ziyech wide and the Chelsea winger slices his shot.

Kai Havertz beats Tim Ream to a long ball but then hooks his 20-yard shot wide of the post. Ream totally misjudged a bounce there.

A superb pass from Fernandez to Mount to start that move. He's shown glimpses of his quality so far this half when on the ball.

Best chance for Chelsea yet. Enzo Fernandez plays a ball over the top to Mason Mount. He sidefoots a ball across the 12-yard line and Tim Ream slides in to nick the ball away from Kai Havertz, who slides it over but would have made better contact without the Fulham defender.

Conor Gallagher is fine.

Conor Gallagher tries to tackle two Fulham players and seems to have hurt himself.

A bit of a swagger to Chelsea's Mykhailo Mudryk as he gets the ball on the left and then tries to drill in a cross to Kai Havertz. It's too powerful to control and Havertz is offside anyway.

Oh my. Andreas Pereira almost gives Fulham the lead with a lovely strike. He gets the ball outside the box, takes a touch and drills a shot towards the bottom corner which a diving Kepa tips wide.
