Newcastle have drawn more games than any other team in the Premier League this season (10).

This is the joint-most draws they have had after 21 games of a league campaign, along with the 1924-25 top-flight season.

West Ham were the better team today. They went 1-0 down to a Newcastle team who came out of the blocks, they had a goal disallowed and then scored straight after.

Since that point, West Ham grew in confidence and grew in their performance. It certainly wasn't the performance of a team that are fighting relegation. Full of characters, Rice and Paqueta were excellent today.

I think West Ham were the better team and they deserved to win that.

Newcastle are four points clear of Tottenham in the Champions League race.

West Ham, with one Premier League win since 24 October, are one point above the relegation zone.

Newcastle are unbeaten in a club-record 16 top-flight games, with nine wins and seven draws since their 2-1 defeat at Liverpool on 31 August.

They are only one game away from equalling their longest unbeaten run in any league - 17 games in the 2009-10 Championship.

It's all over. A draw is a fair result I'd say.

Rice is communicating to his team, keeping everybody organised. He has been a real leader today, both vocally and performance wise. He has covered a lot of ground today with or without the ball.

West Ham rely so heavily on him and it looks unlikely he will be there next season the longer it goes on without him signing a contract.

Anthony Gordon has definitely shown flashes - that's not a Flash Gordon pun - since coming on. He gets the ball on the left and cuts in but the chance to shoot never presents itself.

If West Ham can take any sort of result form here today, David Moyes would be delighted.
