The Hammers are short on striking options with Danny Ings only fit for the bench - he had been a doubt - and Gianluca Scamacca injured.

West Ham are very deep and are looking for Antonio on the out ball to hold the ball up for them and he hasn't done that. Newcastle have been really comfortable in possession.

Joe Willock whips in a lovely cross for Newcastle but Angelo Ogbonna heads it away. This Newcastle team are easy on the eye. Miguel Almiron almost controls a high ball in the box but it just runs to Lukasz Fabianski.

David Moyes will be concerned because it is one pass that splits the defence, exactly what happened for the goal. Once again, Wilson had the beating of this West Ham back four.

West Ham, who are only outside the relegation zone on goal difference, are yet to get going really and Allan Saint-Maximin wins the ball off Lucas Paqueta before finding Callum Wilson with a long ball down the left.

What a fantastic start from Newcastle, they look sharp, they look switched on. They have got one goal disallowed and scored another straight after it.

West Ham just need someone like Declan Rice to get on the ball and have a bit of controlled possession to take the sting out of the way that this Newcastle team has started.

Callum Wilson has now netted 10 goals in 12 Premier League games against West Ham. He hasn't managed more than six against any other team.

There was a VAR check for Callum Wilson's goal, but he was well onside so there wasn't really any danger there.

That was his first goal since October.

They are relishing the opportunity to play against each other - now, it's just a question of who gets to celebrate in front of who.

The two strikers were speaking about Newcastle's upcoming game with West Ham at St James' Park on the Footballer's Football podcast they host together.

Both of them, typically, are in bullish mood, despite Newcastle having the best defensive record in the Premier League.

"I think we're going to win 3-1 and I'll get two of them," said Antonio. "Your defenders haven't played anyone like me yet this season.

"I've got an actual celebration planned to do in front of you as well."

Wilson boasts a prolific record against the Hammers and is confident of adding to his nine goals in 11 games.

"I'll let you waffle on and then do my talking on the pitch," he said. "People come here nowadays and are happy with a draw but it's going to be 2-0.

"You know it, four minutes on the clock, Wilson against West Ham. I might do the Macarena.

"Get your popcorn out - it's going to be a good watch."
