    Wolves 0-1 Liverpool

Cody Gakpo in on goal for his first Liverpool goal, but the effort is smothered by Jose Sa.

    The Dutchman was offside anyway.

  4. KICK-OFFpublished at 21:05 Greenwich Mean Time 17 January 2023

    West Brom 1-0 Chesterfield

Back under way at The Hawthorns.

No changes for West Brom or Chesterfield. Not quite the goalfest that it was 10 days ago, either.

  5. Postpublished at 21:03 Greenwich Mean Time 17 January 2023

    Wolves 0-1 Liverpool

An hour gone and Caoimhin Kelleher is still yet to make a save.

A yard opens up for a second for Raul Jimenez, but the Mexico international lays the ball off for Adama Traore, who gets right under it and shanks horribly over.

  6. YELLOW CARDpublished at 21:00 Greenwich Mean Time 17 January 2023

    Wolves 0-1 Liverpool

Ironic cheers from the home fans as Liverpool midfielder Thiago Alcantara goes into the referee's book for a trip on Raul Jimenez.

  7. Postpublished at 21:00 Greenwich Mean Time 17 January 2023

    Swansea 0-0 Bristol City

Still goalless at Swansea but the hosts have had a good chance as Joel Piroe drove in a low shot from the left but it missed the target.

  8. Postpublished at 20:59 Greenwich Mean Time 17 January 2023

    Wolves 0-1 Liverpool

You would think a second Liverpool goal will kill this tie off.

Fabio Carvalho gets a pass in the box but cannot sort his feet out quickly enough to get a shot away.

Meanwhile, Mohamed Salah looks like he's limbering up.

    Wolves 0-1 Liverpool

Rayan Ait-Nouri's delivery sails all the way across and then the hosts want a penalty for handball from Naby Keita, but it clearly hits his shoulder.

  13. goal

GOAL - Wigan 1-0 Lutonpublished at 46 mins

    Thelo Aasgaard

We have a goal at Wigan inside the first minute of the second half and what a goal it was as the hosts strike first.

A Wigan long throw is headed out to the edge of the penalty area and Thelo Aasgaard shows great technique as he fires it into the top corner.

  17. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:47 Greenwich Mean Time 17 January 2023

    West Brom 1-0 Chesterfield

A reminder that we've got one 20:00 kick-off tonight and that's at The Hawthorns, where West Brom are headed into the break with a 1-0 lead over National League side Chesterfield.

That came via John Swift's curling strike on 23 minutes. Work to do for the Spireites.

  18. SUBSTITUTIONSpublished at 20:47 Greenwich Mean Time 17 January 2023

    Wolves 0-1 Liverpool

Double change from Julen Lopetegui at the start of the second half.

Nelson Semedo and Liverpool target Matheus Nunes are on.

Dexter Lembikisa and Joe Hodge make way.

  19. Will the goals come?published at 20:47 Greenwich Mean Time 17 January 2023

    Swansea 0-0 Bristol City

    Gareth Vincent
BBC Sport Wales at the Swansea.com Stadium

It was a goalless first half at the Swansea.com Stadium - and in truth there have were barely any chances.

That is somewhat surprising given these two clubs' respective records in the Championship this season.

Swansea are 11th in the table yet only three teams have scored more second-tier goals than Russell Martin's side, while just six sides have managed more than Bristol City's 36 league strikes even though they are down in 17th.

At the other end, both clubs have been leaky - only four Championship teams have conceded more goals than Swansea and Bristol City (who have each been breached 37 times).

So there have to be goals in the second half here, don't there?
