That's better from Ryan Porteous as the Hibs defender has a go from 30 yards, but it's a comfortable save for Zander Clark.

Dithering defending from Ryan Porteous and Hearts are in with a sniff. Lawrence Shankland fires off another shot and it clips Rocky Bushiri on its way out for a corner.

Elie Youan twists and turns away from Alex Cochrane, who must be feeling dizzy by now, only to hit a weak shot at Zander Clark.

Lawrence Shankland runs at a couple of Hibs defenders from near halfway before dipping a shoulder to make room for a strike but the ball zooms straight at David Marshall.

Josh Campbell fancies a crack as the ball drops his way after Hearts repel a long throw-in but three defenders are on him as he gets the shot off.

Rocky Bushiri and Lawrence Shankland get in a silly tangle and Don Robertson isn't messing about, dishing out a yellow card to them both.

From the Hibs manager's point of view, he'll be really happy with a lot of the football he's seen and also the terrific attitude, the work ethic.

The only thing they're lacking is putting it into the back of the net. They've been very close. The manager, I'm sure he'll just get in at half-time, not a lot to say.

'Same again guys, same again. We play the same way we are, create chances, one's bound to go in'.

It's been a good derby, there's been plenty energy and a wee bit of needle. Hibs have been the better side, the more dangerous side, but they're looking at nothing from the match. They need to find a final touch.

Hearts always possess a capability. Ginnelly executed really well. But Hearts have brought their own trouble by being indecisive. Snodgrass can't show like he normally can because he's suffocated by Josh Campbell.

Sooner or later, McGeady will carve open a moment of real quality that will give Hibs a chance.

We gave Kevin Nisbet and Lawrence Shankland the big build-up but neither striker has had a clear sight at goal yet.

Something is sure to fall their way after the interval, surely?

It's been fast and frantic and it's been very entertaining... Hearts have the advantage with an early goal from Josh Ginnelly.

Hibs have been lively in attack and Josh Campbell could easily have two goals to his name.

Shankland hasn't had many touches in the first 45 minutes. I still think Hearts have allowed Hibs to get into the game and get a foothold.

Hibs have hit the button. They've got players in the final third that are causing all sorts of trouble for Hearts.

Lawrence Shankland, who has been pretty quiet so far, cuts in from the left and has a pop at goal from a long way out. It's not all that far away, but Hibs keeper David Marshall did not look at all flustered.

At the age of 36, Aiden McGeady still has lovely, quick feet. Hibs are trying to get him on the ball as much as possible.
