Evan Pritchard: How was that challenge AGAINST Leipzig?!? First, the questionable handball penalty & now THAT?!? Oh la la.

What is going on in this game…. The referee is twisted. Casmeiro red card for endangering a player. Agreed. Ederson karate chop. Yellow card to the opposing team.

GG in DC: Looked up from sending my wife a text to see Haaland knee sliding in the corner - thought they're replaying this penalty a lot. Nope. 2-0.

    An escape for Manchester City.

Leipzig counter from the corner and Ederson rushes out of his box before knocking Konrad Laimer over.

The referee gets his yellow card out... but it's to Timo Werner. Dissent I guess?

I thought Ederson could have been in trouble there but it's judged not to be a foul.
