    Luke O'Nien (34 mins)

Sunderland celebrate go ahead at QPRImage source, PA Media

Moments after making a good save to deny Patrick Roberts, QPR keeper Seny Dieng makes a poor handling error.

He fails to hold onto a straightforward Dan Ballard header from an outswinging corner from the right, and Luke O'Nien is there to prod in from close range.

QPR's woeful run looks set to continue.

    Burnley 0-0 Watford

Morocco winger Anass Zaroury makes the most of a lucky bobble to cut in and chance his arm from about 25 yards out.

His shot flies well over the Watford crossbar but they can ill-afford to let a player of his quality have a shot at goal from there again.

  3. League Two updatepublished at 20:20 Greenwich Mean Time 14 February 2023

    Leaders Leyton Orient are ahead.

Ruel Sotiriou has the goal for them at home to Rochdale, who are bottom of the table.

And Idris El Mizouni has scored a second for Orient.

Mansfield have fired in three goals in 15 minutes at Carlisle!

First Ollie Clarke, then Alfie Kilgour and a Lucas Atkins penalty has probably already sealed the points in Cumbria.

The hosts began the night third with Mansfield chasing the play-offs.

    Burnley 0-0 Watford

Watford win a free-kick about 30 yards out or so for a foul by Connor Roberts on Ken Sema.

The Wales international is booked for his trouble.

The free-kick from Sema is an absolute waste.

    QPR 0-0 Sunderland

It's Sunderland's turn to go close as on-loan striker Joe Gelhardt gets in behind the R's defence and fires into the side-netting.

Luke O'Nien then stings the palms of QPR keeper Seny Dieng from long range, but the Senegal international diverts the ball away to safety.

    Burnley 0-0 Watford

Watford are one of just two teams, along with second-placed Sheffield United, to have beat the Clarets this season.

They're having to weather an early storm this evening as Nathan Tella, who scored a hat-trick in the 3-0 win over Preston on Saturday, sees a shot blocked.

    Coventry 0-0 Millwall

Viktor Gyokeres is again the danger man for Coventry.

This time the striker cuts inside and curls over the Millwall bar.

The Lions have had a bit more of the ball but are yet to truly threaten.

    Reading 0-0 Rotherham

Good start from the home side, who are looking to end a run of six league games without a win.

Andy Yiadom gets forward well from full-back and his well-hit shot is deflected wide of the post.

  9. League One updatepublished at 20:08 Greenwich Mean Time 14 February 2023

Charlton have got 11 points to make up on the top six so they need a hell of a run to get in the shake up.

A good start tonight at bottom-of-the-table Forest Green with Corey Blackett-Taylor scoring an early opener.

10 games without a win for FGR coming into tonight.

Nathan Smith has quickly equalised for Port Vale at home to Barnsley.

And Promise Omochere has put Fleetwood a goal up at home to Peterborough, who began the night six points off the top six.

    QPR 0-0 Sunderland

Just over 20 minutes gone at Loftus Road and Rangers forward Jamal Lowe has fired wide from the edge of the area.

So far it's been one for the purists.

Might be a bit of a come-down for Will Ferrell after his trips to the Etihad and Anfield.

Norwich have a stinking home record at the moment. They're winless in their last six at Carrow Road in the league - drawn two, lost four. But at least they are back level tonight.

  12. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 20:06 Greenwich Mean Time 14 February 2023

    Burnley 0-0 Watford

    MY WORD.

Burnley nearly have the lead in the opening minute!

They get in behind and the ball comes back to Ashley Barnes and he sees his shot touched on to the bar by a despairing dive from Daniel Bachmann in the Watford net.

What a start that would have been!

    Birmingham 0-0 Cardiff

Chance for the hosts but defender Auston Trusty heads off target for the Blues.

Set-pieces are important for Birmingham, with 12 of their goals coming from free-kicks and corners so far this season - the third-most in the Championship behind Millwall and Sheffield United.

  16. KICK-OFFpublished at 20:01 Greenwich Mean Time 14 February 2023

Burnley 0-0 Watford; Reading 0-0 Rotherham

Under way at Turf Moor and at Reading too.

Can runaway league leaders Burnley make it a club record 11 successive wins?

Opponents Watford had to make a VERY late change after returning skipper Tom Cleverely pulled out in the warm up.

  18. League Two updatepublished at 20:00 Greenwich Mean Time 14 February 2023

Stevenage begin the evening second in League Two and Luke Norris has given them the early lead at Newport, who are looking over their shoulders more than up the table down in 19th.

Crawley are also looking nervously at teams behind them but they have the opener at home to Stockport through Jack Powell.

Leaders Leyton Orient will hope to extend their lead at the top of the table but 0-0 so far against Rochdale in east London.

That's a lovely finish and you would expect nothing less from Barry Bannan.

He's a very technical player, he's been in around the leagues for a long time and he's taken that one very well.

  20. Kompany's history boys?published at 19:55 Greenwich Mean Time 14 February 2023

    Burnley v Watford (20:00 GMT)

    Vincent KompanyImage source, PA Media

Burnley stand on the edge of a little piece of club history this evening.

Should the Clarets, one of the 12 founding members of the Football League back in 1888, record victory tonight it would see them win 11 successive league matches for the first time ever.

Vincent Kompany's champions-elect have been in sensational form since a 5-2 defeat at second-placed Sheffield United at the start of November.

Standing in their way are a Watford side who are without a win in four and are in danger of slipping out of the top six.

The Hornets give a first start since August to midfielder and captain Tom Cleverley.
