Fulham

Fulham goalscorer Joao Palhinha speaking to BBC One: "I scored a good goal but the victory was the most important thing, it has been a long time since the club has been in a quarter-final so it is important for us, the supporters and the club and we want to carry on."

On the goal: "Sometimes I try to do it in training sometimes I score, sometimes not. Manor [Solomon] scored a great goal as well like the game before but the most important thing is the victory."

On the atmosphere at Fulham: "It really is happiness for everyone, we are having a great season in my opinion and we said after the Wolves game we have to keep the good work because the team has a lot of value.

"We want to improve where we have to because we want to beat the big teams so I think we have the value and can put it on the pitch and keep doing what we are doing at the moment."

Now then what's going on here? Bristol City midfielder Joe Williams barges into Bernardo Silva with the ball nowhere in sight.

Manchester City's Portugal international isn't having any of that mind and is up sharpish to give him a shove back before several players from both sides intervene.

Since winning 1-0 at Old Trafford against Manchester United in January 2010, Leeds have only kept one clean sheet in their last 25 FA Cup matches.

Leicester are a strange team they suffer some real poor results and performances and then they can go on a run. They are a team in transition but performances like tonight will always worry a manager, they were bullied by at times by a Championship team here and they will need to get that out of their system.

Fulham have reached the FA Cup quarter-finals for the first time since the 2009-10 campaign under Roy Hodgson, when they lost 3-1 in a replay in the last eight against Tottenham.

Manchester City are just keeping the ball now trying to make a tired Bristol City side chase the ball.

By the looks of it Pep Guardiola thinks this game is done.

Immediately after scoring Sergio Gomez and Cole Palmer trotted on to replace Nathan Ake and Phil Foden.

We may well be hearing about this incident from the first half as Leeds' record signing Georginio Rutter thought he had scored his first goal for the club, but it was ruled out.

On tonight's performance they are onto bigger and better things. They showed all the different styles of how to win a game and dominated Leicester at all of them. They have group of young players who are going to develop and it is really enjoyable to see.

They took the game to Leicester both in and out of possession and that is no mean feat away from home at a Premier League club. They dominated for 65 minutes and could have scored more than the two goals they did.

Then they had to defend and show another side of themselves, so it was an all-round performance from Blackburn Rovers and a well deserved win.
