The Forest fans are making plenty of noise now. Most of it backing manager Steve Cooper.

The atmosphere around this game in the first half was so relaxed, the half-time music was still playing long after the second half had started.

That probably suited Nottingham Forest, who I am sure would have taken a point at the start.

It wasn't very entertaining though.

Now Liverpool have the lead, Forest will have to sharpen up.

When you look at 16th down to 20th there was one win in the last 25 games between five teams, that win is keeping Leeds just above the rest of the pack.

There's a lot of red boxes down the bottom of the table, and no team seems to be able to get an all important win.

Just three points can completely change the outlook of things down the bottom of the Premier League.

Leicester midfielder James Maddison has posted on Instagram, explaining his absence from the Leicester squad today.

He says he has a sickness bug.

We are getting used to full-backs moving into central midfield, that was a case of a goalkeeper turning into a central defender.

It wasn't as if there was no-one around Alisson when he went to head that ball late in the first half. There was plenty of jeopardy in that situation.

Trent Alexander-Arnold was, once again, give the license to drift into midfield during that half.

There have been no real chances from opener play for Liverpool, however.

The whistle goes for half-time at Leicester, bringing to an end a strange 45 minutes.

Leicester dominated the start, struggled to get out of their own half for the next 20 minutes before finishing strongly.

Everton's best effort came from Alex Iwobi, whose volley was pushed wide by Sam Johnstone.

Palace's best moment came from a surging run from Michael Olise that took him into the box and he went to ground under a challenge by Vitalii Mykolenko but referee John Brooks waved away Palace's penalty appeals.
