Nottingham Forest goalkeeper Kaylor Navas has history with Liverpool.

The storied Costa Rican was in goal for Real Madrid in the 2018 Champions League final when Gareth Bale scored twice in a 3-1 win for the Spanish giants.

Forest will hope Navas can keep Liverpool out today.

Michael Olise, on the right flank, shifts the ball on to his left foot and strikes at goal but Everton keeper Jordan Pickford is right behind it, has his angles correct and can dive and gather.

From a corner Brentford's Rico Henry has a shot blocked. As Villa try to counter there's a foul and a melee follows.

Christian Norgaard is booked for the foul that started it but nobody is penalised for the fight.

Liverpool spring on the counter-attack after Fabinho wins the ball in midfield.

Mohamed Salah jinks in from the left and ends up squaring the ball back to the Brazil international but he shoots horribly high into the Anfield Road stand.

A bustling run from Michael Olise after he collects the ball close to the right touchline. It's a great sprint with Vitalii Mykolenko and Olise gets into the box and hits the turf, with Mykolenko just behind him.

The Palace fans want a penalty but John Brooks says 'no'.

When it needs to go, it needs to go, and I'm sure goalkeepers will have support from the coaches and the rest of the players to do that if that's what's needed.
