    Man City 3-0 Arsenal

    Scramble!

Arsenal have a few bites of the cherry in the City box but the home side fling men in front of the ball to keep the Gunners out.

That's the most panic we've seen in the home defence so far.

There is a VAR check for a potential handball by Erling Haaland but his arm is right down by his side. No chance.

    Nottingham Forest 2-1 Brighton

Brighton clear the corner... but wait!

There is a massive shout for a handball by Brighton skipper Lewis Dunk.

A shout full of conviction rather than hope.

Think it is, you know. Goes to VAR...

    Bryan Mbeumo (78 mins)

Chelsea fans start streaming out of Stamford Bridge as Brentford double their lead.

It's the Bees' first shot on target all night as Bryan Mbeumo runs down the right wing, cuts in and hammers in a shot which takes a deflection off Thiago Silva before flying in.

An assist by former Oxford midfielder Shandon Baptiste.

    Nottingham Forest 2-1 Brighton

This match leaves you out of breath just watching. So much energy and endeavour.

Forest swarm over the Brighton midfield and buzz forward in numbers,

Harry Toffollo, a pair of fresh legs put on by Forest boss Steve Cooper, shoots but sees his shot blocked and go out for a corner.

  5. 'Great link up play'published at 21:18 British Summer Time 26 April 2023

    Man City 3-0 Arsenal

    Dion Dublin
Former England striker on BBC Radio 5 Live

As soon as City got the ball back Haaland was alive.

It's great link up play between Haaland and De Bruyne again. No goalkeeper is stopping that.

It's 3-0 because of Ramsdale. It could be four, five or six if he wasn't playing.

    Man City 3-0 Arsenal

Just moments before that third City goal, Aaron Ramsdale had pulled out a big save to deny Erling Haaland for the fourth time.

He was unable to do anything about the De Bruyne shot, though.

The Belgian has been imperious tonight.

    West Ham 1-2 Liverpool

Very good goalkeeping by Alisson to rush out of his box and deny Danny Ings, who was one on one.

    Kevin de Bruyne

    GAME OVER!

Manchester City are putting Arsenal in their place. Erling Haaland sets up Kevin de Bruyne in the box and the Belgian slots a low shot through Rob Holding's legs and past the diving Aaron Ramsdale.

This game is over. What about the title race?

  9. 'Not good enough'published at 21:14 British Summer Time 26 April 2023

    West Ham 1-2 Liverpool

    James Collins
Former West Ham defender on BBC Radio 5 Live

    It's not good enough.

David Moyes will be furious it's a free header form six yards out. They've asked Benrahma to try and deal with Matip but there's no one doing a job on him.

  10. YELLOW CARDpublished at 21:14 British Summer Time 26 April 2023

    Chelsea 0-1 Brentford

Brentford's first shot in over half an hour but Bryan Mbeumo is off target. They haven't had a shot on target yet - thanks to that Cesar Azpilicueta own goal.

Rico Henry and Wesley Fofana are booking over a clash.

    Nottingham Forest 2-1 Brighton

Imagine Forest are going to have to do a lot of defending in the final 10-plus minutes.

Kaoru Mitoma gets on his dancing shoes in the left channel of the Forest box, the away end behind him adamant Renan Lodi handles their man's cross.

Not for me. Or the ref.

Corner... Keylor Navas punches clear to the relief of the home fans.

    Man City 2-0 Arsenal

There's a bit of a lull in the intensity in the early stages of this second half.

Manchester City know Arsenal need to come at them. They're managing this, knowing spaces are bound to open for them later.

So, 6 games to go for Chelsea, 10 points off the drop zone. I think, we can make it. Just about...

Liverpool will be only six points off the Champions League places if they win this, albeit with more games played.

  16. 'Arsenal lacking positivity'published at 21:11 British Summer Time 26 April 2023

    Man City 2-0 Arsenal

    Dion Dublin
Former England striker on BBC Radio 5 Live

I expected Arsenal to be different to other sides that have come to the Etihad.

They came out for the second half with their shoulders hunched over and there was no positivity at all.

    Nottingham Forest 2-1 Brighton

Brighton have lobbed on former England striker Danny Welbeck and German forward Deniz Undav as they search for a way back into this game.

They almost find the equaliser through Solly March, but his poked drive is tipped over by Forest keeper Keylor Navas.

  19. Postpublished at 21:09 British Summer Time 26 April 2023

    Man City 2-0 Arsenal

An Arsenal effort on target! It's their first of the night.

The ball is pulled back to Granit Xhaka on the edge of the City box but he can only curl a shot straight at Ederson.
