Villa have had a few flashes of things but that's about it.

In general play, they haven't been able to create much. Its' more been from a Manchester United slip.

Marcus Rashford is working hard as he flashes it just wide. He's bundled over by Calum Chambers afterwards and wants a penalty. It was a sloppy challenge by the Villa defender as Rashford had his back to goal near the byline.

On first viewing I was very surprised that referee Simon Hooper crossed his arms and said no penalty.

That was always going to be the crucial goal, could Leeds get back level or would Bournemouth extend their lead.

The ball gets played back across goal, Solanke nips in with a brilliant touch and finish, wonderful from him.

It’s a good goal from Bournemouth’s perspective but Leeds won’t want to look at it too often because its not great from them.

Leeds look to make something happen, but Neto does well to save a Wilfried Gnonto effort following a corner and then the home defence stands equally tall to block another shot from the Italian from a subsequent corner.

All feels too little, to late from Leeds. Bournemouth have been pretty comfortable until then.

Bobby De Cordova-Reid wants a penalty. He sneaks in behind and tries to get a shot off but is held back by Kyle Walker. Fulham fans are furious. The referee thinks it's just physical strength and nothing is given.

Tensions raise a few moments later with Kenny Tete and Jack Grealish.

The most damning thing you can say about Leeds here is that Bournemouth haven't seemingly had to work for a 3-1 lead. The Whites have just caved in and offered little in response.

Marc Roca tries to change that but his effort from range is pushed away by Neto.

That is the cue for a couple of Leeds subs. Rodrigo and Adam Forshaw are on for Weston McKennie and Patrick Bamford.

Georginio Rutter is Leeds' record signing, but he's not deemed ready for the Premier League, it would seem.

Liverpool make three changes to the side who won 2-1 against West Ham on Wednesday.

Tottenham Hotspur make two changes after they came from behind to draw 2-2 with Manchester United on Thursday.

Ben Davies and Dejan Kulusevski start for Spurs while Clement Lenglet and Richarlison have to make do with a spot on the bench.

This game is in the balance at the moment with Manchester City unable to put it to bed.

Marcus Rashford hits it from long range and it takes a heavy deflection, looping it kindly into Emiliano Martinez's hands.

Calamity at the back by City! Ederson is scrambling to keep the ball on the edge of his box. Carlos Vinicius is trying to get it out of his grasp for a shot. A City defender manages to get a toe in, then Ederson pokes it away and City hoof it clear.

It's relentless attacks now from Newcastle.

Joe Willock is given another sight of goal but his effort is blocked by the diving Jan Bednarek.

Soon after, Callum Wilson's header is tipped over by Alex McCarthy.

John McGinn strikes from the edge of the box and it trickles just wide.

Erling Haaland almost pounces onto a loose pass back by Fulham but Bernd Leno reacts well to clear it in time.

Saints are throwing bodies in all over the shop to stop Newcastle taking the lead.

A diving away defender diverts Joelinton's shot wide before an effort from Joe Willock is saved by the diving Alex McCarthy.

Tunde Paul: The next 2-3 games is crucial for Newcastle and Man United, they draw or lose those games, then the pressure starts. That can further affect their remaining few games of the season if the 2/3 teams just below then are winning. I’ll not conclude on the top 4 just yet.

Richard: Leeds fans wait 16 years to get back to the Premier League and one season later they're "happy" to see their team relegated? These people don't understand the consequence of relegation. Look at the likes of Portsmouth and Wigan to see what awaits you.

Bertrand Traore and Calum Chambers are on for Villa, replacing Ashley Young and Leander Dendoncker.

The goal stands!

Leeds were 3-1 down at home to Bournemouth and managed to come back and win 4-3. I can't see it happening here. This is a culmination of a string of awful failings at the club.

I don't think he's received enough plaudits.
