You have to look for a reaction now. They've been doing well but now they need to start again against Reading in midweek and try to get back to winning football matches.

I bet that was a tense Stoke bench in the final five minutes.

But they saw out the win and pulled off a fantastic win over one of the form sides in the Championship.

Blackburn will be unhappy with that first 80-odd minutes, however.

Over the 90 minutes Blackburn have not been good enough, they've not been at the races.

They scored a couple of goals at the end but they didn't really deserve anything.

Once Stoke got into the game they bossed midfield and they missed a couple of chances, so it could have been worse for Rovers.

They have been in good form but eight or nine haven't really shown up for Rovers today and if that happens you're not going to win anything.

Third-placed Middlesbrough and second-placed Sheffield United breathe a sigh of relief after that.

Stoke have moved up to 13th following that victory over Blackburn.

The comeback wasn't to be.

Stoke looked comfortable for 85 minutes but then goals from Ben Brereton Diaz and Sam Gallagher gave the hosts a scare.

Ki-Jana Hoever's double and Tyrese Campbell gifts Stoke all three points as Blackburn's winning run comes to an end.
