Fulham look hungrier, like they want to get to the semi finals that little bit more.

There will be a few raised voices at the break.

Grimsby boss Paul Hurst, speaking on BBC One: "It's never easy when you have lost a game of football, even against a team from the Premier League like Brighton. Towards the end, we lost a little bit of discipline. It would have been nice to keep it to 4-0 as it sounds much better than 5-0. But it just wasn't to be today.

On his post-match team talk: "I've told the players to be proud. I'm proud of them; proud of the run overall and today's game. It was a real test against a top side. These sorts of occasions are great memories. We're one of only five teams to have made is to the quarter-final stage from the fourth tier.

On the Grimsby fans: "The fanbase are fantastic. They have come out in their numbers. It's a community club and they are proud of their club.

"Now, we look ahead to finish the season strongly."

Fulham have stopped the opposition from scoring a first-half goal in four of their five FA Cup games, only Grimsby Town (five) and Fleetwood Town (five) have done this more often in the FA Cup this season.

Man Utd can't play through the lines, they are being forced down the lines.

But when a team sets up like that, you have to move the ball quicker. Man Utd have been forced it and lacked quality in the Fulham half.

Manchester United have failed to score a first-half goal in three of their four FA Cup games this season, only Sheffield Wednesday (four) and Fleetwood Town (four) have failed to score more often in the English FA Cup this season.

The three biggest chances have fallen to Man Utd; Fulham have been the better side.

Fulham will be happier; Man Utd need to regroup. We'll see what the second half brings.

And that's half time.

A poor clearance by Fulham and the ball is put straight back into the box for Jadon Sancho, who tees up Scott McTominay but his shot is blocked.

Kenny Tete absolutely hammers an effort from outside the box but it is always going wide.

Two minutes of time added on.

Good pressure to end the half by Manchester United as Marcel Sabitzer pulls the ball back for Marcus Rashford, who leaves it seemingly thinking someone was behind him inside the box but there wasn't.

Heck of a hit by Marcel Sabitzer as the ball sets up nicely for him on the edge of the area. He wraps his foot around it but Bernd Leno saves.

Joao Palhinha is a bit too eager to chase a loose ball on the edge of the Manchester United box and commits a foul.

No goals but it has been a decent cup tie so far.

Cracking ball by Bruno Fernandes as he spots the run of Luke Shaw towards the far post but Kenny Tete reads the danger superbly to get there first and head behind.

Marcus Rashford is onto a ball into the box, his first touch is heavy and that gives Bernd Leno the chance to get off his line and narrow the angle as Rashford shoots. A decent opportunity, however.

Definitely a gameplan by Fulham to get as many crosses into the box as quickly as possible. Antonee Robinson is the latest to send the ball into the area and it is a decent delivery to find Aleksandar Mitrovic but he can't keep his header down.

Kenny Tete slips and for a moment Marcus Rashford looks to be away down the left but he can't keep the ball in play. A let off for Fulham.

Incidentally that booking for Harry Maguire means he will miss the semi-final with Brighton IF Manchester United make it through.

Aleksandar Mitrovic goes down inside the box under pressure from Lisandro Martinez. The fall looks a bit theatrical but VAR will have a look. It is a quick check, no penalty.

Wout Weghorst is slow to react to a ball into the box for Manchester United. A bit quicker and that could have been the opener.

The Fulham fans to my right are making quite a bit of noise.

They particularly enjoyed it when Harry Maguire got booked just then. Can't think what he has done to upset them, so am guessing it is England related.

Marco Silva's men could do with capitalising on this good start.
