Harry Maguire goes down after a heavy challenge. Play goes on and Luke Shaw comes in with a crunching tackle after just picking up a yellow card. The referee is quickly surrounded - Italy want Shaw off and England want a free-kick for Maguire.

The crowd are really getting onto the England players when they think they are slowing the game down. Shaw is booked by the referee for taking his time over a throw in.

John Stones then blocks a shot and Wilfried Gnonto fouls Bukayo Saka. England are making last-ditch clearances at the moment.

There's some confusion as Kyle Walker was showing as already being on a yellow card in the first half. Clearly that wasn't the case as he has just been shown one now. He joins Declan Rice and Harry Maguire in the book.

In England's Group C, Euro 2020 competitors North Macedonia have finally made the breakthrough against minnows Malta with two quick-fire second half goals.

In Portugal's Group J, Bosnia-Herzegovina now lead Iceland 3-0.

Bukayo Saka has two players to beat on the right and he waits for the right moment before whipping a teasing ball in. Nobody gambled and it fizzes safely away to the far side.

Striker Nicola Nanni brings a long ball under control, holds off a defender and slots into the bottom corner...

But he's about five yards offside. Still, should be a wake-up call for Northern Ireland.
