I feel for Frank Lampard. I'm sure he'll analyse the game and think Chelsea had chances early on.

The red card is the game changer and it should be a sending off.

Milan want a penalty but the referee says no and Alexis Saelemaekers shoots wide.

There's a bit of a melee with Napoli unhappy at Milan's antics.

Saelemaekers and Napoli defender Amir Rrahmani are booked.

Another warm embrace between Carlo Ancelotti and Frank Lampard.

That could have been much, much worse for Chelsea, who played the final 30 minutes with 10 men.

They have a two-goal deficit to make up at Stamford Bridge. Very tough, but not impossible.

Milan striker Rafael Leao hammers a shot well over from long range. They really want a second goal here.

I'm shocked Karim Benzema hasn't scored that.

It's eight yards out and an open goal but he looked like he was on his heels.

A huge opportunity to put this tie to bed.

What a block from Antonio Rudiger!

Mason Mount thinks he's going to score a priceless Chelsea goal after gathering the ball on the turn in the area. He gets his effort away but in flies the ex-Blues defender to block and send the ball spinning away to safety.

Milan have only their second shot on target of the whole game as Rafael Leao's 20-yard strike is held by Alex Meret.

Big miss!

David Alaba gets in behind the Chelsea defence down the left. His cross is palmed out by Kepa but only as far as Karim Benzema, who can't adjust quickly enough and heads over the unguarded net.

That could have killed the tie.

Brilliant save from Milan keeper Mike Maignan to keep his side ahead. Giovanni di Lorenzo's shot looks like it's going to fly into the top corner but it's tipped over by the Frenchman.

Now Mathias Olivera glances a header over. Napoli's best spell for ages.

The 90 minutes are up.

Chelsea have five added minutes to cling on.

As the board goes up to indicate this, Carlo Ancelotti does a few keepy ups before returning the ball to one of his players. Still got it.
