Oh my, inches away from a second goal for Milan as Simon Kjaer crashes a header off the crossbar from a corner.

Napoli need half-time because Milan are pummeling them right now. Corner after corner.

Chelsea started well, but have been pushed further and further back.
Karim Benzema's goal is the difference.
Big second 45 minutes coming up in this tie.

The frustrating thing is Real aren't that good. So open in transition and their final ball has been appalling so far. Chelsea are making it far too easy for them.

Real Madrid 1-0 Chelsea
Real are really pushing for this second goal.
Wesley Fofana is way too soft on the ball, allowing Federico Valverde to knock him off it with ease. The Uruguayan carries the ball to the edge of the Chelsea box and fires a low show straight at Kepa. That is a let off for the Blues.

Chelsea started the half with belief and threat but the longer the game has gone on that threat has faded.
Build up play has been a little too slow and Real Madrid can get bodies back behind the ball.
AC Milan 1-0 Napoli
AC Milan boss Stefano Pioli is booked for dissent. The referee will be looking forward to half-time because it's just starting to bubble over.
AC Milan 1-0 Napoli
Luckily for Napoli, Ismael Bennacer - who has just scored his first Champions League goal - takes a heavy touch when he could have shot from 20 yards.
AC Milan 1-0 Napoli
A big lesson here for Napoli about taking your chances when they come. They have failed to score with nine efforts, with Milan netting their second shot.
The home fans are making a lot of noise now as the game becomes a bit heated.
Real Madrid 1-0 Chelsea
Save!
David Alaba glances a header on that Kepa gets down to gather. Karim Benzema was sniffing for a touch that would surely have brought him and Real a second goal.

With Benzema's last 11 CL goals against the best if English football, just imagine if he plays in the EPL every match day!

Real Madrid 1-0 Chelsea
Karim Benzema already has his 26th goal of the season. He is in the hunt for a 27th but a Chelsea boot cuts out a Vinicius Junior cross that is heading his way in the box.
Ismael Bennacer (40 mins)
Milan score with their second chance of the game.
Brahim Diaz runs through the centre and finds Rafael Leao. The Portuguese crosses and Brahim lets it run to Ismael Bennacer, who hammers a first-time shot in from 10 yards.

Chelsea's new owners have done the impossible and spent over half a billion pounds and somehow the only striker in their lineup is a loan job, they need to bare more responsibility than the managers they keep sacking , chickens coming home to roost.

Real Madrid are having a good period now and really controlling the game.
Frank Lampard is big on self belief and his players need to show that now.
Real Madrid 1-0 Chelsea
Good work from Reece James, but lacking end product.
He beats Eduardo Camavinga on the outside and drives a low cross straight at Thibaut Courtois.
AC Milan 0-0 Napoli
Napoli's Piotr Zielinski clips Rade Krunic and gets the first yellow card of the tie.

Encouraging start by Chelsea. Just need more confidence on the ball and certainly, they will be able to take the chances against Madrid and not concede any more goals, otherwise, this tie will slip away from them.
