What a save!
David de Gea has put Thursday night well and truly behind him. The United keeper flings himself across his goal to keep out Julio Enciso after Lewis Dunk has a goalbound header cleared.
Then Danny Welbeck misses a great chance with a header.

Irrelevant of today's result, Roberto de Zerbi will be very proud of what he's achieved at Brighton to date.
The way he's had an impact on the performances, the way he's got them playing and the way the fans have taken to him. It has been a brilliant introduction to English football.

It's a bit early but throwing it out there. Is this going to extra time? These are two very well matched sides. Just three attempts on target so far.

Luke Shaw goes into the book for bringing down Moises Caicedo after Diogo Dalot carelessly gives away possession. United have not got going this half.

Shane: As long as United don't concede early in the second half, I think they have this under control. Full-backs are playing well. Let Brighton nibble away and pick them off late on.

A wild swing by Pervis Estupiñán finds Row Z. Still, Brighton have started the new half with a real spring in their step.
Brighton 0-0 Man Utd
Good spell of possession by Brighton around the edge of United's penalty box but they cannot carve out an opening before Solly March wins a corner.

Huge clearance by David de Gea as Brighton start the new half on the front foot before Antony goes on an explosive run, but his final delivery goes straight to a Brighton defender.

Why are we deprived of football? Game stopped for four minutes for the March and Fernandes injuries, plus other minor stoppages, but only three mins stoppage time? So frustrating. I miss the approach taken in the World Cup.

We haven't seen much of Rashford and Eriksen doesn't seem up to speed yet.
Fernandes has been the one.

It has been a little bit cagey and the half ended with a physical edge but it has been an entertaining affair.

Do not understand any of the comments about United here. Brighton are a GREAT team. United finish the half the stronger. It's a semi-final so there'll be nerves and this is a world away from that match against Seville. Give Brighton some respect.

Bruno Fernandes has had three of United's five attempts - including this one.

I thought Bruno Fernandes was United's best player in the first half. Everything good has gone through him.

This was Brighton's only attempt on target in the first half. Good save!

There was a lot of talk about the way Klopp talks to match officials earlier in the season, but Erik ten Hag is absolutely no better. The FA needs to have a rethink at the end of the season about the rules in communicating with match officials.

Brighton were the better team for the first 42 or 43 minutes. They just lacked that finishing touch in the final third.
United came into the game in the final moments and had the best chances through Christian Eriksen and Bruno Fernandes.

Referee Craig Pawson will have been quite pleased to get to half-time I reckon.
Most of his decisions were being contested, with Manchester United's players believing Pawson has not been even handed with his yellow cards and Brighton feeling the official has not been harsh enough.
This is obscuring the fact neither side have played that well.
