Stu: United are not playing with any real conviction. The fire really has gone on from the team over the last few weeks.

Ian: This has to be one of the worst semi finals of recent times. I'm a Utd fan of over 40 years and this is dull.

    Big chance for United!

Bruno Fernandes does well to create an opportunity which he puts wide from an angle.

Should he have passed to Anthony Martial who was unmarked inside the box? Martial does not look pleased.

Robin: Eriksen has been a good free signing for Manchester United but his defensive and pressing qualities are non-existent. Combine that with Bruno’s hobbling the midfield is looking quite weak. Signing an engine there in the summer is just as important as a striker.

Loads of niggly challenges. Not much goalmouth action.

This is bubbling. Bruno Fernandes runs into Pervis Estupinan and is flattened. He wants the referee to take action but Craig Pawson is not interested.

Erik ten Hag is in the ear of the fourth official. He's having a right go after another crunching challenge. The tackles are flying in but there's still nothing to divide these two teams.

    Naughty, naughty!

Casemiro goes in late on Alexis Mac Allister and Craig Pawson whips out a yellow card.

Casemiro is not at all happy he has been booked but it looked a caution all day long.

The whole structure at Brighton is great. The recruitment process, getting the right people to oversee that process and then bringing in the right managers to mould the squad.

How anybody can consider Fernandes captain material is beyond me. He does nothing but whinge the whole game!

All to play for at Wembley. Brighton are going toe-to-toe with United and look threatening on the break. The Seagulls are full of energy and enthusiasm.

    Lovely by Brighton.

Kaoru Mitoma runs at the United defence but a challenge deflects the ball into the path of Julio Enciso, whose first-time attempt fizzes narrowly wide.

Brighton have double the amount of passes that Manchester United do. The breaks in play, though, are breaking the rhythm up.

Bruno Fernandes goes down after a challenge by Pascal Gross. He's not happy. The Manchester United player throws his arms in the air in frustration.

All a bit stop-start with hold ups for injuries not letting the game get into any sort of rhythm. Brighton are looking to get their passing style going but events so far are not exactly helping them. The Wembley tuf also seems slippy.

    Simon Stone

Bruno Fernandes has been for a couple of sprints since he had treatment for that ankle knock and has pulled up sharply both times afterwards.

The Manchester United skipper is not moving freely at all.

Gorgeous cross field ball by Alexis Mac Allister finds Solly March out wide in space but Diogo Dalot does well to make the block. Corner to Brighton.

It's surprising how many players have slipped or had a problem with their footing in the early stages of this game.

A few have felt little issues with their ankles.
