It's been a good old battle.

Both sides have got into good positions. Hibs have looked dangeous in wide areas.

The decision-making in the final third has been poor, from Hibs in particular, but they are asking a lot of questions.

There's an awful lot of insecurity at the back for Hearts - it's a question of who blinks first.

It's all square at the break in what, to be honest, is far from an Edinburgh derby classic.

It looks exactly like two sides who have been struggling of late.

You look at the Hearts midfield, which is about as good as it can get at the moment, but it shows that is an area that needs strengthening dramatically.

They are losing the battle.

First real threat from Hearts and David Marshall has to make a smart save.

Andy Halliday rises to meet a corner at the back post and the midfielder's downward header is pushed wide by the former Scotland goalkeeper.

Hearts have at last managed to string some passes together in midfield, but there's a lack of cohesion and creativity there.

Great recovery from Kye Rowles.

Just as well for the Australia centre-half. He lets a long ball drop over his head, Kevin Nisbet pounces, but Rowles recovers to block the striker's shot inside the six-yard box.

Hearts are leading a charmed life at the moment.

Kevin Nisbet turns the ball back from the by-line to Elie Youan, but his strike partner fires it high over the bar from about 15 yards.

What a save that is from Zander Clark.

The ball drops to Élie Youan inside the Hearts penalty box.

However, goalkeeper Zander Clark does superbly to block the striker's low drive from almost point-blank range.

It's getting a bit tetchy now.

Having just been booked, Hearts midfielder Cammy Devlin tempts fate by grabbing the ball from Hibs' Jake Doyle-Hayes after a foul. It calms down - momentarily at least.
