Not a lot happening to be completely honest with you.

I'm hoping that me writing that will lead to a goal shortly, because that's definitely how it works...

    Rotherham 1-1 Cardiff

I mentioned that most of the play was taking place in Cardiff's half, but the visitors have looked a threat on the break all night, and they spring forward again here.

Ollie Rathbone rugby tackles Kion Etete to the ground to stop the Cardiff charge, and is duly booked.

Taking one for the team there.

Matt Taylor's Rotherham have had a series of corners, and are pinning Cardiff back at the moment.

Cohen Bramall's delivery is asking real questions of the Cardiff defence.

    Rotherham 1-1 Cardiff

A fairly scrappy start to the second half, as both sides swing balls into the box and hope to get on the end of second balls.

Kion Etete then tries his luck from long range, but it's straight at Viktor Johansson, who makes a comfortable save.

    HT: Rotherham 1-1 Cardiff

That Sory Kaba miss means that Cardiff have now missed five of their six spot-kicks this season.

That's a remarkable statistic, and one that could ultimately cost them come the end of the season.

That missed penalty was pretty much the last act of a thrilling first half at a soggy New York Stadium.

Kion Etete put Cardiff in front early on, and the visitors had chances to double their lead, but were pegged back by Chiedozie Ogbene's header.

All to play for after the break.

From absolutely nowhere, Rotherham are back on level terms!

Wes Harding whips in a teasing cross that skips off the slick playing surface, and Chiedozie Ogbene arrives at the back post to head home.

Cardiff want a foul on Cedric Kipre - there's a little bit of contact from Richard Wood, but not enough to send Kipre tumbling like that.

"Football in a library" chant the visiting Cardiff fans, who are enjoying their evening out thus far thanks to that early Kion Etete goal.

    Rotherham 0-1 Cardiff

Cardiff coach Sol Bamba is incredibly angry about something, and is shouting and pointing at anyone in his vicinity.

No idea what sparked that, but Lee Peltier is taking the brunt of his verbal volley.

Bamba is booked and told to calm down.

Havoc in the Cardiff box as Cohen Bramall delivers a superb corner to the back post.

Richard Wood is attacking it, and looks all set to nod home the equaliser, but Sabri Lamouchi's side somehow scramble the ball clear.

    Last-ditch stuff.

Jaden Philogene bursts over half-way for Cardiff, who are causing Rotherham plenty of problems on the break.

He is hauled to ground cynically, but Oliver Langford waves play on. There's letting the game flow, but that's silly.

Here's what that Kion Etete goal has done to the bottom of the Championship table...

Cardiff would be six points clear of third-from-bottom Reading, who have two matches left to play, if they can hold on to this lead.

    Rotherham 0-1 Cardiff

Rotherham are looking to go direct to Jordan Hugill up front, who is having plenty of success in the air, but the home side can't quite get the necessary support to the former West Ham striker.

If they can get bodies around him, that might be their route back into the game.

A massive goal for the visitors!

More good work down the right from Cardiff, with Jaden Philogene at the heart of things.

The ball is laid off to Perry Ng, who swings in a delightful right-footed cross that Rotherham can't deal with.

Kion Etete gets across his man and his header back across Viktor Johansson finds the corner.

On second viewing, it comes off Etete's shoulder, but he and Cardiff won't care one bit.
