No early kick-off today (apparently there was something on in London?) so Saturday's action begins with four matches at 15:00 BST.

Sam Allardyce will take charge of a ninth Premier League club when Leeds face Manchester City at the Etihad - the first of four games to try and lift the club away from danger. The Whites are 17th in the table and only out of the relegation zone on goal difference.

City meanwhile can go four points clear at the top with a win, with Real Madrid in the first leg of the Champions League semi-final looming on Tuesday.

The race for Europe continues with Tottenham taking on Roy Hodgson's rejuvenated Crystal Palace, while Aston Villa head to a Wolves side likely needing just one more win reach 40 points and be absolutely certain of Premier League survival.

Bournemouth have already achieved that feat thanks to a remarkable run of form under Gary O'Neil. They face Frank Lampard's struggling Chelsea on the south coast.

The race for Europe then resumes with the 17:30 kick-off as Liverpool look to move to within a point of the top four (for 24 hours at least) with victory over Brentford.

We are well and truly on the home straight now. There are only three more Premier League weekends left after this one, with issues still to be decided at the top and bottom of the table.

One of the big questions today is: can big Sam hatch a plan to stop the one-man goal machine Erling Haaland?
