AZ Alkmaar are taking a very steady approach to this game.

They are taking their time passing it across the back, not rushing set pieces and then trying to hit quickly on the counter.

David Moyes has said he wants his team to be disciplined.

They do look as though they can create chances and Lucas Paqueta is living with himself for overhitting that pass to Michail Antonio but West Ham must be careful not to rush.

A waste.

AZ's defenders cannot cope with Michail Antonio's strength. The forward knocks two defenders off the ball before laying it off to Lucas Paqueta. But the midfielder can't play Antonio back in, overhitting his pass.

Play is then brought back as Mees de Wit gets a yellow for a late challenge on Jarrod Bowen.

Chances at both ends as Filip Kostic drags a left-footed effort wide for Juventus, before Lucas Ocampos sees a header comfortably saved for the visitors.

So close!

Said Benrahma thinks he's scored but ex-Brighton keeper Matt Ryan does superbly to push his curling effort behind for a corner.

From the set-piece the keeper's there again to punch the ball away before Lucas Paqueta heads a rebound off-target. West Ham are pushing.

A player who has stood out already in the first ten minutes is Reijnders - a very classy midfielder.

Really good play from Michail Antonio, robust and direct.

Unlucky for Jarrod Bowen, got between the two Alkmaar defenders but in the end he almost tries to get the contact with his hip.

Good move though from West Ham.

West Ham keeper Alphonse Areola gets his first touch of the ball to claim a Jens Odgaard cross.

There's been nothing to worry the home side so far.

At the other end Michail Antonio drives West Ham forward but can't feed in Jarrod Bowen ahead of him.

Bayer Leverkusen have made a really strong start at the Stadio Olimpico.

Florian Wirtz plays a one-two and then drags an effort just wide of the far post from the edge of the area.

In the opening minute Robert Andrich had a shot saved after good interplay.
