Ask us about not investing. Instead of investing after Champions League and Premier League titles in successive seasons we effectively have gone backwards this season.

    Alan

A lot of the Leicester players already look like they've given it up, and that's probably the ones who knew they were leaving this summer anyway! They know who they are!

    Kevin, Leics.

While this scoreline and run with Trent and Curtis is excellent for Liverpool, it gives an excuse not to spend money this summer, which they really need to do. If not, I fear another autumn implosion at Anfield. Apart from that, all is fantastic!

Gibson Lee: Leicester's problem is not Brendan Rodgers or the players. It was a matter of balancing the books or die. If that means relegation so be it. The club doesn't go under. Simple.

Jack Lovatt: It's as if they gave up about four games ago - almost feel for the Leicester fans a bit.

Liverpool have just been fantastic since the two goals. I don't think Leicester have touched the ball. Leicester have gone into their shells and crumbled.

John Dunthorne: Unlike some of the other teams, Leicester City have shown no heart. Some of the stars who are leaving should be ashamed.

Phill: As an Everton fan it doesn't matter what happens at Liverpool vs Leicester, all that matters for us is we MUST win one of our last 2 games, or two ideally and we are safe. We can’t rely on other teams doing us a favour, it’s our fault we are where we are this season - we have been terrible.

The energy and optimism has been sucked out of the Leicester players and supporters.

Liverpool were beginning to cut the Foxes apart at the back and they're fortunate it's only 2-0 at half-time.

Another dismal display from the home side and they are rapidly hurtling down to the Championship.

It's the same defensive frailties. For the first 25 minutes Leicester played really well in this game, they had the best opportunities and were pushing Liverpool back... but as soon as the first Liverpool goal went in you could almost feel the confidence just sapped out of this Leicester side.

The place went quiet almost in expectancy of when the next goal was coming.

Leicester are on the ropes now. Luckily for them the ball doesn't quite land to Curtis Jones for his hat-trick(?!).
