    Everton 1-1 Brighton

Emily Ramsey comes way out of her goal to clear but only finds Kayleigh Green.

She tries to shoot frpom distance but Ramsey gets back to catch. Cool as you like.

I'd love to know if her defenders were as calm as she was though.

    Kirsty Hanson (8 mins)

    Villa take the lead!

The home side had been on the back foot but they come forward, a pass is fired in to Rachel Daly inside the box, she can't bring it under control but Liverpool can't clear it either.

That allows Kirsty Hanson to steal in and fire a left-foot shot into the bottom corner. Lovely finish.

    Chelsea 2-0 Arsenal

    Hope Powell

Not good enough by Arsenal's standards.

The opportunity to get the ball in the final third and have a chance from open play or a set piece, the final ball has to be better - especially against such a solid defensive unit in Chelsea.

There's a medical emergency in the stands so fans have alerted Kingsmeadow staff to the situation.

There's a brief pause in play to make sure the medical staff are able to get over to them before we get back under way.

Thomas: Man Utd fan here hoping for Arsenal to do us a favour, but it’s not looking likely. Chelsea are formidable and will make deserved champions, unless the football Gods suddenly decide to look upon us favourably.

Akekue: This Chelsea team are so reliable, no worries!

Fantastic player Pernille Harder, what a servant she has been for this club.

We saw a lot of her in the cup final, she had an injury this season so it was nice to see her back on the pitch [in the last few weeks].

She will be missed greatly, a great player.

  15. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 14:05 British Summer Time 21 May 2023

Chelsea are in no rush, they are in the driving seat.

Arsenal will have to come out and put the pressure on, but if they do that, it will expose them in behind.

We're under way at Villa Park. Both sides are secure in mid-table but there is a trophy (of sorts) to be won...

Rachel Daly has scored 20 goals in as many WSL games and leads the race for the golden boot. Can she extend that lead this afternoon?

  19. Postpublished at 14:01 British Summer Time 21 May 2023

    Chelsea 2-0 Arsenal

    Hope Powell
Former England and Brighton manager on BBC Two

It shows how well Arsenal have done, that Chelsea are grateful for a spell of possession.

But Chelsea know that they can just keep the ball now and make it difficult for Arsenal. If they have the ball then Arsenal haven't and they can keeep control of things.

  20. Postpublished at 14:01 British Summer Time 21 May 2023

    Chelsea 2-0 Arsenal

After 15 minutes of Arsenal dominance Chelsea are responding. Niamh Charles has a go from range but her shot is easy enough for Manuela Zinsberger in the Arsenal net.
