Just to make a completely obvious statement, but this is still so cagey and nervy that only a goal will properly open this tie up.

Oh wow, but what a chance this is for Coventry!
They press the ball, win it back and spring an attack.
Ben Sheaf breaks into the box but never really seems to have it under control and can only skew a shot across goal.
But it's so poorly hit that it actually falls to Jamie Allen rather than go out of play - and then he also scuffs his attempt goalwards.
That's a waste.

I think Mark Robins will be quite happy.
We have talked about Coventry getting Matty Godden on and I'm pretty sure that might happen later.
But I like the shape. It has disrupted Middlesbrough's flow a bit. Why would Mark Robins change it if he feels it is working well?
Middlesbrough 0-0 Coventry (Agg: 0-0)
Meanwhile, Middlesbrough, who have had 67% of the ball so far, are back in possession again.
Boro on the ball, everyone in Sky Blue - apart from Viktor Gyokeres - behind it.
Middlesbrough 0-0 Coventry (Agg: 0-0)
On the subject of no changes from either manager, it's worth reminding you that four players have been booked, two from either side.
You wonder whether that could end up having a play to part in this tie at some point.
Middlesbrough 0-0 Coventry (Agg: 0-0)
And Coventry are immediately on the front foot, getting a couple of early crosses into the box until Zach Steffen eventually gets his hands on the ball.
That's a bit more like it.
Middlesbrough 0-0 Coventry (Agg: 0-0)
We're back under way at the Riverside.
No changes from either manager at the break.

The atmosphere has been bubbling like a bottle of champagne amid a wall of noise, but the game itself has probably been more white cider - tough to stomach but strangely producing a buzz.
That's not to say it's not been dramatic and exciting, but in terms of pure quality, you'd probably be dredging the Tees metaphorically.
One word for the Middlesbrough fans, they've been giving Coventry goalkeeper Ben Wilson some stick on goal-kicks - questioning both his parentage and his gut proportions. If he's fat then God help us all!

Middlesbrough started the game ever so well. But I don't think either keeper has been tested yet.
It has been an intriguing contest, both teams don't want to make a mistake.
A little bit of nervous tension out there. It's just a tight game. But it's all to play for.

That was a very entertaining first half - I still can't separate these sides.
Coventry have been much more aggressive and brave in the way they've pressed higher up the pitch, and that's suited them.
It's a really good gameplan, but it can be dangerous if they lose the ball in key areas.
Middlesbrough 0-0 Coventry (Agg: 0-0)
Which comes to nothing and brings the half-time whistle.
This tie is still absolutely anyone's. Could we even end up going all the way here?...
Middlesbrough 0-0 Coventry (Agg: 0-0)
It probably should've been! Viktor Gyokeres attempts to tee up a team-mate 12 yards from goal but only diverts the ball to Middlesbrough, who in turn break up the field and win a corner.
Gustavo Hamer is booked for a foul off the ball.
Here comes the set-piece...
Middlesbrough 0-0 Coventry (Agg: 0-0)
Coventry are on the attack late in the half. One last chance before the break?...

I think the difference in the teams is the end product of Middlesbrough's wide players and full-backs.
That's what this Coventry team are missing, that decision-making in wide areas.
Middlesbrough 0-0 Coventry (Agg: 0-0)
There'll be three added minutes at the end of this first half. You'd imagine both will be fairly satisfied with 0-0 at the break.
Middlesbrough 0-0 Coventry (Agg: 0-0)
I think this is what you'd call taking one for the team.
Viktor Gyokeres cleverly allows the ball to run through his legs and beyond Paddy McNair, but as the Sky Blues forward attempts to roll his man and break clear McNair hauls him to the floor. And he knew he had to.
Yellow card.
Middlesbrough 0-0 Coventry (Agg: 0-0)
Terrific block from Jake Bidwell, this.
The Coventry man initially misjudges the far post cross and allows it to drift towards Marcus Forss, who controls the ball and rifles it towards goal.
Bidwell, though, had recovered quickly enough to absolutely chuck himself in the way of it. Good defending... eventually.
Middlesbrough 0-0 Coventry (Agg: 0-0)
A graphic's just flashed up to point out that we're still yet to see a shot on target tonight. There were only two in the first leg.
For as absorbing as the tie's been, it does feel like it could do with a goal to break it open a bit.
Middlesbrough 0-0 Coventry (Agg: 0-0)
Nearly!
As the visitors work the ball forward it breaks to Jamie Allen in the box and just for a brief moment he seems perfectly placed to shoot towards goal, only for Ryan Giles to nip in and pinch it off his toes.
Coventry haven't found themselves in that sort of position too often tonight, you have to say.
Middlesbrough 0-0 Coventry (Agg: 0-0)
And another foul! Callum Doyle brings down Chuba Akpom and this time the referee decides he's had enough, choosing to book the Coventry player.
Personally, I think he's slightly unfortunate to be booked purely on the basis of repeated fouling from his team-mates.
