Bowen just couldn't get it down well enough and dragged the shot wide but that is the most dangerous moment so far.

Nice stuff from Jarrod Bowen on the right. He links up with Thilo Kehrer, his cross towards Michail Antonio is half-cleared and Bowen follows up, dragging a shot wide.

Jarrod Bowen almost manages to spin away from the last defender but it's taken off him in the nick of time.

West Ham, while they haven't seen much of the ball, look pretty comfortable.

A corner from the right is met by the head of Federico Gatti - who scored last week's 97th-minute equaliser.

He powers the header down but Yassine Bounou pushes it away.

West Ham haven't been under massive pressure. I actually think they can win the game having looked at both the teams.

They just need to keep the ball a little bit better in the final third and cross it earlier.

It's headed away at the near post and Jesper Karlsson curls it back into the middle. Nobody gets on the end of it and West Ham allow it to roll out for a goal kick.

Yukinari Sugawara gallops down the right and wins a corner for Alkmaar. A chance to test Alphonse Areola now perhaps.

Sam Beukema blocks the cross in from Thilo Kehrer. West Ham are starting to see more of the ball but it's in wide areas. AZ are moving it around nicely but are yet to test Alphonse Areola.

Xabi Alonso's side have started well.

Kerem Demirbay has an effort on target from the edge of the box before Moussa Diaby curls wide from a similar spot.
