  6. FULL-TIME

    Sweden 2-1 South Africa

Sweden survive a huge scare as they come from behind to get the three points and deny South Africa what would have been their first ever World Cup win.

  10. 'Sweden will be absolutely delighted'

    Sweden 2-1 South Africa

    Sue Smith

Former England international on BBC Two

    Heartbreak for South Africa.

They have managed to deal with the set pieces on a whole.

It's a good strong header, Amanda Ilestedt gets across her defender.

Sweden will be absolutely delighted with that. Not at their best today but if they can come away with the win, they will just move on.

They'll know there is plenty to improve on but the win is the most important thing.

Illestadt roars in delight after scoring a potential winning goal in the dying minutes.
  11. GOAL - Sweden 2-1 South Africa

    Amanda Ilestedt

Just as Denmark did yesterday against China, Sweden have scored in the 90th minute to take the lead.

A corner comes in from the left, Arsenal defender Amanda Ilestedt rises highest inside the six-yard box to power a header beyond Kaylin Swart.

Devastation for South Africa. Sweden have come from behind and they lead.

  12. Post update

    Sweden 1-1 South Africa

What a chance for Sweden to get a winner. The ball is played to the back post and South Africa goalkeeper Kaylin Swart slips just as Johanna Rytting Kaneryd has a chance, but she heads the chance wide. Anywhere on target and that was a second goal for Sweden.

Caroline Seger, 38, is coming on for what is an incredible 236th international appearance.

She is Sweden's most capped international player and the outfield player that has started the most games at the Women’s World Cup without ever scoring a goal.

This is her 18th appearance in World Cup history and she replaces Elin Rubensson.

  16. 'We have to praise South Africa'

    Sweden 1-1 South Africa

    Sue Smith

Former England international on BBC Two

There has been a bit of improvement from Sweden, they aren't taking as many touches in the final third.

We are used to Sweden being quite so fluid. It's the first game, building their way into it. If they can get a result they will just move on but improvement needed from Sweden.

But I do think we have to praise South Africa, with how they have performed and made it difficult for Sweden.

  17. Watch how South Africa took the lead

    Sweden 1-1 South Africa

It came at a cost as Hildah Magaia had to go off with an injury, but this was a moment she will never forget as she put South Africa ahead with only their second ever World Cup goal.

  18. Post update

    Sweden 1-1 South Africa

    Sue Smith

Former England international on BBC Two

Sweden will be looking to get Hanna Bennison on the ball. Talented young player who is certainly capable of creating things.

That's a strength that Sweden have, they can change things around and add different types of quality as well.

  19. Post update

    Sweden 1-1 South Africa

A trio of changes for Sweden and on comes Everton's Hanna Bennison as well as Rebecka Blomqvist and Olivia Schough. Off go Filippa Angeldahl, Stina Blackstenius and Fridolina Rolfo.

  20. Change of goalscorer

    Sweden 1-1 South Africa

The Sweden goal has now been credited to Fridolina Rolfo, although Lebohang Ramalepe definitely got a touch, but Rolfo, who was standing behind Ramalepe, will be claiming it, although she didn't know much about it.
