I feel like doing a mic drop and walking out because I did say Bonmati was going to get another goal.

It all comes from a cross again - Switzerland are poor, they don't deal with the cross, they allow the ball to come in.

Two defenders and a goalkeeper go one way and Bonmati cuts back across and just passes the ball into the net but Switzerland's problem has been not dealing with the crosses, letting them come in.

Irene Paredes is surely going to get among the goals as well before long as she has been a real danger from set pieces.

She rises highest for another Spain corner but sends this one well wide.

What a start this has been! I cannot imagine how Laia Codina was feeling after that own goal on debut but at least, thanks to Alba Redondo, she can forget all about it.

Spain have been really positive so far with Switzerland struggling to get going but it’s knockout football now and anything, as we’ve already seen, can happen.

But so far, Gaelle Thalmann in the Switzerland goal has been by far the busiest keeper.

Bonmati has got another goal in her in this game.

Another corner for Spain, which is played deep before Switzerland are given a free kick for a foul.

More Spain pressure as Aitana Bonmatí's shot inside the box is deflected behind for another Spain corner.

Half an hour gone and Spain will want to get that third goal to give them a bit of breathing space.

They keep putting the crosses in but Switzerland are dealing with them a little better now.

An own goal that has to be seen to be believed, unless you are Laia Codina, who I think will try everything to avoid seeing this ever.

Switzerland have not had an attempt yet are still very much in this thanks to that awful own goal. Meanwhile, Spain are being Spain. Ten attempts inside half an hour which brings their aggregate total to 88 at this World Cup.

Not far off!

Spain are passing the ball around just outside the Switzerland area, patiently looking for an opportunity.

Teresa Abelleira has the ball in space just outside the box and thinks 'why not?' before thumping a decent effort just over the bar.

Ramona Bachmann looks the most likely to create something for Switzerland and she does really well to slip the ball through for Coumba Sow, but her cross-shot goes wide.

Spain are doing really well in transition - when they lose the ball, they are pressing high, winning it back.

I feel Switzerland can do a lot better, with getting out to crosses - they are allowing the crosses to come in. Get out there and get pressure on the ball, don't let Spain get the ball into your box.

Sulaimon Adelekan: With Brazil and Germany out, this has got to be the most open Women's World Cup in years. I am tipping Japan and England (if they can beat the unpredictable Nigeria) to go all the way.

The scoreline makes this game look closer than it is.

Spain have had 73% possession, nine attempts on goal with three on target. That compares to no shots on or off target for Switzerland.
