As both managers said in the build-up, this one is like a boxing match.

But it's at that tense, early stage of a bout where you're waiting for things to catch on fire. Nobody has landed a punch yet, as Colombia start to grab a bit more control in midfield.

Just watching Shaw, it looks like she is trying to ask for the ball and then look for contact from Colombia, perhaps to win her side a free-kick and move them up the pitch.

But she doesn't need to do that. Play your own game, play to your own strengths.

Colombia are stepping things up but Jamaica won't be worried just yet.

They've gone over five hours now without conceding at this World Cup.

Jamaica are under increasing pressure now, just dropping deeper.

Becky Spencer did really well to relieve the pressure with that punch from the corner.

Two more chances for Colombia and they both come from the boot of Catalina Usme.

The skipper's wide free-kick is just punched away by Rebecca Spencer in the Jamaica net and from the resulting corner Colombia play it short, with Usme curling an effort towards the corner.

Spencer keeps that one out too.

Jamaica's Deneisha Blackwood is fortunate not to get booked after a late challenge.

If she gets a yellow she'll miss her side's quarter-final with England should they get there.

I do worry a little bit about Bunny Shaw.

We've seen a few times with off the ball incidents, we saw with Lauren James yesterday that you can't get away with anything off the ball anymore.

We've seen in previous games with Shaw's discipline, she has been punished.

Jamaica can't afford to not have her on the pitch today.

Colombia's best chance.

Captain Catalina Usme has it down the right, cutting back on to her left before whipping in a pacey cross.

The ball just skids over the head of striker Leicy Santos and into the arms of Jamaica keeper Rebecca Spencer. Any proper contact....

Quality Cruyff-turn from Jamaica centre-back Chantelle Swaby sets up a crossing opportunity down the left but Colombia's Carolina Arias is back to tidy things up.

Jamaica are playing the better football.

Jamaica's Trudi Carter gets a ball to the nose. "Right on the hooter," says the Australian commentator on my feed.

Not heard that phrase before, might use it day-to-day.

Sulaimon: This is turning out to be a very physical contest and well suited for the kind of game Khadija Bunny Shaw likes and hopeful the referee is up for it.

Australian Kate Jacewicz is the ref today and the fact I've only noticed her after Gilly's comment suggests she's doing a very good job.

If you ever think women's football is too friendly, listen to the Colombian fans booing Jamaica keeper Becky Spencer as she deliberates which pass to make.

It feels like Bogota in here. Minus the weather.

Jamaica are happy for Colombia to have the ball in their own half and then press hard once they cross halfway.

It's been an intriguing, nervy start so far as keeper Becky Spencer collects a loose ball for Jamaica.

It's been a tasty opening period so far.

Players just leaving a little on their opponents in challenges.

Colombia race forward and the noise levels rise as they do.

The ball is shipped out to Diana Ospina but she scuffs her shot straight at the Jamaica keeper.

Bunny Shaw is going to have a difficult game today.

You see every time she gets on the ball she has three or four Colombian players around her.

It's going to be a frustrating battle for her, she is going to have to mix it up. Get the ball, lay it off and go again.
