    HT: Celtic 1-0 Hearts

We have a new leader at the top of SWPL1. Caitlin Hayes' belting finish for Celtic puts her side top of the tree for the moment, with Celtic's superior goal difference enough to put them above Glasgow City.

However, a goal at Ibrox would change the complexion entirely, with either side being able to take pole position should they hit the front. We're in for some real drama...

    HT: Celtic 1-0 Hearts

13 goals this season for Caitlin Hayes.

She's a centre-half, by the way. Unreal numbers.

Will she be adding a league title to her Player of the Year gong?

  3. HALF-TIME Celtic 1-0 Heartspublished at 17:02 British Summer Time 21 May 2023

Celtic strike first in final day battle. They had huffed and puffed a few times, with Charlotte Parker-Smith producing some big saves to deny Claire O'Riordan and Kit Loferski.

Natasha Flint was warming up too, with a few efforts from distance that flew past the woodwork.

But it was Caitlin Hayes, Celtic's talisman, with her 13th goal of the season. Not a header, but a low drive from the edge of the box as the ball rebounded back to her.

As things stand, Celtic are level with Glasgow City but - crucially - far ahead on goal difference. The title is currently heading to Celtic Park.

If there's somebody you can rely on to come out with a big goal in a big game, it's this woman. It's not her head this time! She gets enough power and purchase on it to bury it.

What's interesting for me is the reaction. They expect to win, they expect Rangers to win, so they know it's all about goals. No big celebration, it's back to the centre spot. There's more business to be done today.

  5. HALF-TIME Rangers 0-0 Glasgow Citypublished at 17:00 British Summer Time 21 May 2023

Stalemate at Ibrox as neither side can find the breakthrough in what has been a hotly contested affair.

Rangers have seen most of the ball, but Glasgow City have had their chances too, both in the knowledge that a goal could swing the momentum of the title race.

I wonder if they know about that goal at Parkhead yet?

    Caitlin Hayes

I did say pre-match she's one for big goals!

The PFA Player of the Year picks out a fantastic finish low in the bottom corner to fire Celtic into the lead and break the Hearts resistance.

As it stands, Celtic are champions...

    Celtic 0-0 Hearts

Shen finds Natasha Flint who turns Cailin Michie and fires at goal again. Another Celtic effort from distance, but this one rises high over the bar.

That's three chances for Flint now, but no reward. Hearts can't keep giving her room.

  8. CLOSE!published at 43 mins

    Rangers 0-0 Glasgow City

Best chance of the afternoon for Glasgow City!

A dangerous lofted ball completely breaks the lines and gives an onrushing Hayley Lauder the chance to get her head on it. The City skipper does everything she can, but she just can't meet the delivery and Rangers are let off with one.

    Rangers 0-0 Glasgow City

League top-scorer Lauren Davidson is desperately trying to get herself in the game, turning well under pressure to find some space before firing well wide from distance.

Rangers are doing well to stifle the talented Scotland international.

And Celtic come close again! Kit Loferski gets away from Emma Brownlie and closes in on goal... but Charlotte Parker-Smith produces a superb save.

That's three big chances in as many minutes for Celtic. They're knocking on the door now, but can Hearts hold on until half time?

    Rangers 0-0 Glasgow City

    Huge chance spurned by Rangers!

A gorgeous passing move completely cuts open the City side, who look like they may have to watch on helplessly as Maddie Nolf bears down in goal. Instead, the American slows things down and tees up Kirsty Howat, who again fails to keep her strike down.

    Celtic 0-0 Hearts

Lovely, intricate passing from Celtic as Amy Gallacher finds Natasha Flint on the edge of the box, but her low, hard drive flashes just wide.

Moments later, she drives at the defence again - confidence clearly flowing. She turns Emma Brownlie well, moves the ball to her right foot and hits... straight at Parker-Smith.

It's a bit flat from Celtic. They need to quicken the pace up when they move the ball, make sharper runs off the ball.

They just need to raise the tempo a little bit.

Cara Henderson bags her 11th of the campaign with a turn and strike to level things for Thistle.

Hibs take the lead in manager Dean Gibson's final game in charge through Trinidadian international Liana Hinds.

It could be an enjoyable send off for the gaffer.

    Celtic 0-0 Hearts

Celtic go close again! Jacynta curls in a corner, it's met at the front post by Claire O'Riordan and she forces a fantastic save from Charlotte Parker-Smith.

It comes to Chloe Craig, but she can only volley her rebound inches wide. Not far away from an opener.

    Rangers 0-0 Glasgow City

Another decent chance for Rangers to hit the front at Ibrox.

Hannah Davison tries her luck with a volley from the edge, but it drops inches wide of the City goal.

Moments later, Jenna Fife nearly plays herself into trouble with a heavy touch at the back but just about recovers to clear the lines. It's all happening!
