Scotland midfielder Erin Cuthbert has also been talking to BBC Scotland:

"We were really building on the momentum from the last camp. We're really building, but it means nothing if we don't go and beat Finland.

"That's what we'll be hoping to do in preparation for the Nations League. We've got to look forward - there are important games coming up, but we're up for the challenge and we'll give it everything we've got.

"It's off-season, we've been working hard to push each other for a performance like that."

Pedro Martinez Losa has been giving his thoughts to BBC Scotland on the full-time whistle:

"Very pleased for the girls. No injuries as well - that's what we wanted. We want to inspire people, that's our job.

"We created chances before the first goal, but we needed that confidence. the second half was difficult for both teams when the pitch became a bit heavy.

"We have a good group, an excellent mix of young and experienced players. It was a good opportunity for the players today."

A comfortable victory for Scotland.

Erin Cuthbert sent them on their way, before two quickfire goals from Sam Kerr and Martha Thomas put Pedro Martinez Losa's side three up before the break.

Northern Ireland improved in the second half, but couldn't find the back of the net, and in truth never looked like overturning that deficit.

Not just going forward but also her defensive work.

On for her debut is Kirsty Maclean. I rant and rave about Emma Watson, and I will equally do so about the teenager Rangers call 'Ini' for Iniesta.

This one is a baller.

Kelly Clark and Kirsty Maclean are on for Scotland, replacing Sam Kerr and Caroline Weir.

It's really chucking it down at Dens now.

Caroline Weir launches a high corner in towards the six-yard box, and it somehow evades everyone on its way out for a goal kick.

Getting balls in the mixer might not be the worst idea, given the conditions.

Call me Big Sam. On second thoughts, please don't.

Northern Ireland should have one back.

Firstly, a corner to the back post is scrambled off the line, and then Emma Mukandi clatters into the back of the nearest Northern Ireland attacker.

That's a stonewall penalty - Scotland get away with one...

Caitlin McGuinness replaces Simone MacGill up top for Northern Ireland, as Gail Redmond makes her fourth sub.

Superb play again from Erin Cuthbert, who picks up the ball on the edge of her own box and drives past a couple of challenges up to halfway.

She gets her head up, and plays a pinpoint pass into the path of Kirsty Hanson, but Hanson's cross is wayward and easily dealt with by Shannon Turner in the Northern Ireland goal.

I know my colleague Amy has been raving about Hanson's display out wide, but Cuthbert's been the standout for me.

She's been sublime tonight - hasn't put a foot wrong in the heart of midfield.

I'd expect Northern Ireland to come out more, they'll be frustrated and disappointed with the goals they lost.

They'll say the goals they lost weren't a fair account of who they are.

Scotland continue to pass with speed and purpose, helped by the slick playing surface, but are yet to carve out a clear-cut chance since the restart.
