    Scotland 3-0 Northern Ireland

That's all from me on live text duties tonight.

A comprehensive win for Scotland, with goals from Erin Cuthbert, Sam Kerr and Martha Thomas.

They go again away in Finland on Tuesday evening; we'll be across that game too - see you then!

  2. 'We're up for the challenge'published at 21:41 British Summer Time 14 July 2023

    FT: Scotland 3-0 Northern Ireland

Scotland midfielder Erin Cuthbert has also been talking to BBC Scotland:

"We were really building on the momentum from the last camp. We're really building, but it means nothing if we don't go and beat Finland.

"That's what we'll be hoping to do in preparation for the Nations League. We've got to look forward - there are important games coming up, but we're up for the challenge and we'll give it everything we've got.

"It's off-season, we've been working hard to push each other for a performance like that."

  3. 'We want to inspire'published at 21:39 British Summer Time 14 July 2023

    FT: Scotland 3-0 Northern Ireland

Pedro Martinez Losa has been giving his thoughts to BBC Scotland on the full-time whistle:

"Very pleased for the girls. No injuries as well - that's what we wanted. We want to inspire people, that's our job.

"We created chances before the first goal, but we needed that confidence. the second half was difficult for both teams when the pitch became a bit heavy.

"We have a good group, an excellent mix of young and experienced players. It was a good opportunity for the players today."

  4. FULL-TIMEpublished at 21:32 British Summer Time 14 July 2023

    Scotland 3-0 Northern Ireland

    A comfortable victory for Scotland.

Erin Cuthbert sent them on their way, before two quickfire goals from Sam Kerr and Martha Thomas put Pedro Martinez Losa's side three up before the break.

Northern Ireland improved in the second half, but couldn't find the back of the net, and in truth never looked like overturning that deficit.

  5. Postpublished at 92 mins

    Scotland 3-0 Northern Ireland

Northern Ireland are finishing this game well, and Fi Morgan heads a corner just over the bar.

Inches away from a debut goal.

Just a minute left on the clock at Dens.

Erin Cuthbert is my player of the match tonight.

Once again, she's stood out amongst everybody else.

Not just going forward but also her defensive work.

  7. PLAYER OF THE MATCHpublished at 90 mins

    Scotland 3-0 Northern Ireland

Erin Cuthbert has been given the award by Gemma Fay on BBC Scotland.

Rightly so, in my opinion. She opened the scoring, and has shone throughout.

  8. ouch!

    Ouch!published at 86 mins

    Scotland 3-0 Northern Ireland

Sarah McFadden is down receiving treatment for what looks like cramp.

Emily Wilson replaces her in the centre of defence, and Fi Morgan is also on for her Northern Ireland debut.

The rain continues to hammer down in Dundee, and this game is petering out somewhat.

    Scotland 3-0 Northern Ireland

    Amy Canavan
    BBC Scotland at Dens Park

Another star of tomorrow for Scotland.

On for her debut is Kirsty Maclean. I rant and rave about Emma Watson, and I will equally do so about the teenager Rangers call 'Ini' for Iniesta.

    This one is a baller.

  11. Scotland changespublished at 79 mins

    Scotland 3-0 Northern Ireland

Kelly Clark and Kirsty Maclean are on for Scotland, replacing Sam Kerr and Caroline Weir.

  12. Postpublished at 77 mins

    Scotland 3-0 Northern Ireland

It's really chucking it down at Dens now.

Caroline Weir launches a high corner in towards the six-yard box, and it somehow evades everyone on its way out for a goal kick.

Getting balls in the mixer might not be the worst idea, given the conditions.

Call me Big Sam. On second thoughts, please don't.

  13. CLOSE!published at 69 mins

    Scotland 3-0 Northern Ireland

Northern Ireland should have one back.

Firstly, a corner to the back post is scrambled off the line, and then Emma Mukandi clatters into the back of the nearest Northern Ireland attacker.

That's a stonewall penalty - Scotland get away with one...

  14. Postpublished at 68 mins

    Scotland 3-0 Northern Ireland

Caitlin McGuinness replaces Simone MacGill up top for Northern Ireland, as Gail Redmond makes her fourth sub.

  15. Postpublished at 65 mins

    Scotland 3-0 Northern Ireland

Superb play again from Erin Cuthbert, who picks up the ball on the edge of her own box and drives past a couple of challenges up to halfway.

She gets her head up, and plays a pinpoint pass into the path of Kirsty Hanson, but Hanson's cross is wayward and easily dealt with by Shannon Turner in the Northern Ireland goal.

I know my colleague Amy has been raving about Hanson's display out wide, but Cuthbert's been the standout for me.

She's been sublime tonight - hasn't put a foot wrong in the heart of midfield.

    Scotland 3-0 Northern Ireland

    Amy Canavan
    BBC Scotland at Dens Park

A special moment for Amy Rodgers, who makes her Scotland debut here at Dens in front of a 5148 strong crowd.

She slots in beside the experienced Emma Mukandi at centre-back.

  17. Postpublished at 61 mins

    Scotland 3-0 Northern Ireland

There's a Scotland debut for Amy Rodgers, coming off the bench alongside Lauren Davidson.

Pedro Martinez Losa using this friendly to have a look at some different options.

  18. Triple changepublished at 20:59 British Summer Time 14 July 2023

    Scotland 3-0 Northern Ireland

Gail Redmond turns to her bench...

Megan Bell, Marissa Callaghan, Danielle Maxwell are all on, replacing Chloe McCarron, Rachel Furnace, and Lauren Wade depart.

  19. 'Northern Ireland will get up the pitch more'published at 20:57 British Summer Time 14 July 2023

    Scotland 3-0 Northern Ireland

    Gemma Fay
Former Scotland goalkeeper on BBC Scotland

I'd expect Northern Ireland to come out more, they'll be frustrated and disappointed with the goals they lost.

They'll say the goals they lost weren't a fair account of who they are.

  20. Postpublished at 51 mins

    Scotland 3-0 Northern Ireland

Scotland continue to pass with speed and purpose, helped by the slick playing surface, but are yet to carve out a clear-cut chance since the restart.
