Latterly, that was more like it from Scotland. The sort of stuff we expected to see tonight... as Leanne Crichton said, it's a genuine world-class midfield out there.
But as I said earlier, Kirsty Hanson - who ain't so bad herself in the WSL - has impressed the most, I'd say.
Will be interesting to see what cards Pedro Martinez Losa plays in this second half... he's never been one to ring in the changes, even in friendlies.
HT: Scotland 3-0 Northern Ireland
Here is that slightly fortuitous Martha Thomas goal that put Scotland three in front...

That look from Martha Thomas is that of someone that knows they got a bit fortunate with their goal.
I'd be claiming I meant it if it was me...

Scotland have dominated possession.
It's not been perfect, the players were just trying to find some rhythm.
But then the goals came, and a stroke of luck too.
Scotland 3-0 Northern Ireland
There's the half-time whistle, and the Dens Park crowd roar their approval for what has been a dominant Scottish display.
Erin Cuthbert opened the scoring with a low shot from the edge of the box that burst through Shannon Turner, before Sam Kerr nodded home Caroline Weir's corner, and Martha Thomas benefitted from a huge slice of good fortune to make it three.
Pedro Martinez Losa will be dead chuffed with that.
Scotland 3-0 Northern Ireland
Almost a stunning reply from the visitors!
A speculative curling effort by Rachel Furnace from the right-hand side clatters off the crossbar, and Erin Cuthburt then does wonderfully to block the follow-up over for a corner.
Lee Gibson was well beaten there...

Like buses...
And such a late overload from Scotland has forced Northern Ireland to regroup while Martha Thomas, admittedly sheepishly, celebrates away.
A wee side note, Kirsty Hanson has been brilliant down this left hand side. She's on fire.

Is this another one for the dubious goals panel?
I mentioned that I wanted to see a ruthless Scotland and ever since the first goal it's as if a little bit of pressure has came off of them.
Northern Ireland will be scratching their heads a little bit about how it is like this now.
Martha Thomas
Bang, bang, bang!
Kirsty Hanson continues to wreak absolute havoc down the left wing, and she gets to the byline for the umpteenth time in this first half.
Her cross is hooked away, but ricochets off Martha Thomas, and finds the back of the net via the post.
Thomas has a wry smile on her face, but they all count, and Scotland are in cruise control now.
Sam Kerr
One brings two for Scotland!
Sam Kerr is claiming it, but I've got a feeling that the final touch came off Demi Vance from the Scotland corner.
It was a wicked ball in from Caroline Weir, begging for someone to get on the end of it.
Scotland 1-0 Northern Ireland
It's all Scotland now, buoyed by the opening goal.
Kirsty Hanson has got her marker on toast, and Joely Andrews almost diverts the cross into her own goal, but Shannon Turner gets across well to make the save.
Erin Cuthbert
She's been the best player on the park, and now Erin Cuthbert breaks the deadlock!
Caroline Weir finds Emma Watson just outside the box on the right, and the young Rangers midfielder squares it to Cuthbert, making another excellent late run into the box.
Her low shot squirms through the grasp of Shannon Turner in the Northern Ireland goal, and Scotland deservedly lead.
It's been coming.
Scotland 0-0 Northern Ireland
My word, how have Scotland not scored here!
It's a wonderful turn from Erin Cuthbert in midfield - she leaves her marker in the dust and sprays it out to Kirsty Hanson down the left.
Hanson goes down the line, and drives in a low cross to the far post, and from there Martha Thomas has a tap in but Cuthbert somehow gets in the way of the shot on the goal-line.
Could, and should, have been a great team goal.
Scotland 0-0 Northern Ireland
Much better from Scotland, as they create an overload down the right, and cut the ball back to Erin Cuthbert, who has made a great run to the edge of the box.
Her shot is low and hard, but she can't pick out a corner, and Shannon Turner gets behind it well to make a sharp save.

That's Scotland's best passage of play, the ball just evades the players coming in.
It was a ball through the middle and then out wide, a take on one-v-one before it's sent in.
That's what we have to be doing, I think we have better pace and attackers out wide.
Scotland 0-0 Northern Ireland
Kirsty Hanson bursts past her marker down the left-hand side, before putting an excellent low cross into the box.
Martha Thomas steps over it, but no-one behind her can get on the end of it...

There's a Rachel Corsie shaped hole in that defence, isn't there?
Sophie Howard and Emma Mukandi are more than capable and experienced, but there's quite a gap between the two... and Northern Ireland have noticed it.
Pedro won't be pleased about that...
