Finland pile forward again and Katariina Kosola gets to the by-line and cuts it back towards the bodies in the middle.

Rachel McLauchlan swings a tired leg at it and slices it over her goal via the crossbar.

Her heart would have skipped a beat there.

Jamie-Lee Napier fires just wide from the corner and, from there, Finland spring down the other end.

Only a desperate block from Nicola Docherty keeps it out.

It's a chance to run down the clock if nothing else...

It looked for all the world like Finland would equalise there, as Katariina Kosola bursts past Nicola Docherty into the Scotland box.

However, Lee Gibson ignores the pain caused by her tight hamstring and the goalkeeper flies to her left to make a crucial save.

Fiona Brown is beaten far too easily out wide, allowing Emma Koivisto to get a shot away from just outside the box.

Thankfully for Scotland, Lee Gibson is alert to it and tips the goal-bound strike over the bar.

The Scotland stopper looks in a wee bit of bother here and is receiving treatment from the visiting physios.

Rachel McLauchlan is made to look a little bit silly by a lovely piece of skill and, all of a sudden, Finland are into the Scotland box down the left-hand side.

Only a brilliant last-ditch block from Nicola Docherty in front of her own goal denies Finland the equaliser.

Something needs to change for Scotland, and quickly, because the hosts are really turning the screw.

It would have been important for Finland to score when they had that advantage, as they were on top.

That phase has passed, but there doesn't seem to be any opportunities for either side in the game right now.

You're just hoping that it's Scotland that manage to take control of it before Finland do, because as the game goes on, that one-goal advantage is a really dangerous one as you go into the latter stages.

Lisa Evans replaces Kirsty Hanson, who looks like she might have picked up a dead leg in that previous collision.

This game is still very much in the balance.

Finland 1-2 Scotland

Rachel McLauchlan whips in a gorgeous cross across the six-yard box, begging one of her teammates to get on the end of it.

Martha Thomas and Kirsty Hanson throw themselves at it but can't get a telling touch and Hanson clatters into a Finnish defender for her troubles.

She winces as she gets up, and I'm not surprised, but she is trying to run it off.

It's Scotland's best passage of play in the second half as they move up the park and earn some much-needed respite.

Caroline Weir nips in ahead of a Finnish defender in the box, but her low, whipped shot fizzes just past the far post.

Scotland just don't look like they completely know and understand how to solve the problem when Finland are building up the play.

It'll be interesting to see if Scotland can change and apply more pressure.

Pedro Martinez Losa turns to the bench in an attempt to wrestle back control of this game.

Lauren Davidson makes way for Scotland, with Martha Thomas replacing her. Thomas heads straight up top, which means Emma Watson moving to a wider role.

Finland continue to press and come within inches of levelling the scores.

Olga Ahtinen picks up the ball on the edge of Scotland's box and bends a shot just over the top of Lee Gibson's goal.

Gibson holds her hands out as if to suggest she had it covered, but that was in had it been on target.

Scotland are struggling to get out of their own half in the opening stages of the second half and the home crowd sense the momentum is with Finland, cheering on the hosts.

Scotland are keeping Finland out for now, but they need to keep the ball better than they have been.
